Looks like there was a live event where Periyava joined to give anugrahabashanam and this is part of that. Periyava is recommending all of us to chant this 14 times a day (I think I heard it right). In addition to this, He is also recommending to chant Hanuman Chalisa (if possible).

As Periyava said, let us do this for us and also for Loka Kshema.
