Jaya Jaya Sankara – The Navarathri golden run of our blog artists continue in full flow. A day after an amazing Kamakshi Amman and Periyava drawing Sow V. Shruthi (8th grader has come up with a marvellous Maha Periyava idol done using using paper mesh, clay, peppers & satin cloth. Her father tells me sitting from a distance he could feel Mahaperiyava is sitting directly in front of him. Please bless this kid and pray to Sri Periyava for churning out more art work. Rama Rama

Looks lovely…Great attempt…She did a good job in bringing out Periyava with all details…..what is important is not the actual output – what the input was. the image of Mahaperiyava (in that pose) is deeply engraved in this kid’s mind during this process. that is the most precious thing. I wish Shruthi all the best and let her do more of these work in the future too…
This is a very nice work, done with natural material! This spreads joy and a feeling of holiness all around.
Only one tip: since this contains paper mesh, something should be added to repel possible insects, so that it will last really long.
