காஞ்சி மகாப் பெரியவர் அணுக்கத் தொண்டர்களிடம் சம்பாஷிக்கும்போது பல அபூர்வத் தகவல்கள் வெளிவரும். அப்படி வெளிவந்தவைகளில் சில:;
லஷ்மியம்மா என்ற பெண்மணி பெரியவாளிடம் மகா பக்தியுள்ள பெண்மணி. அவருக்குப் புற்றுநோய். உடம்பு முடியவில்லை. இருப்பினும் பூஜைக்கு வேண்டிய பல பணிவிடைகளை சிரமத்துடன் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார். அவருக்குப் பெரியவர் உபதேசம் செய்த ஸ்லோகம் ஒன்று அவரைப் புற்று நோயிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றியிருக்கிறது! அந்த ஸ்லோகம்:
அஸ்மிந் பராத்மந் நநு பாத்மகல்பே
த்வமித்த முத்தாபித பத்மயோநிஹி
அநந்த பூமா மமரோக ராஸிம்
நிருந்தி வாதாலய வாஸ விஷ்ணோ
(இந்த மந்திரத்தை 45 நாள்களுக்கு தினமும் 108 முறை பாராயணம் செய்து புற்றுநோயிலிருந்து முழுமையாக உறுதியாகக் குணமடையலாம் என்பது ஸ்ரீகாஞ்சி மகானின் வாக்கு).
எல்லோரும் அவசியம் தினமும் பஞ்சாங்கம் வாசிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது மகாப் பெரியவாளோட விருப்பம். அதனால் என்ன பயன் என்றும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.
- திதி – திதியைச் சொன்னால் ஐஸ்வர்யம் கிடைக்கும்.
- வாரம் – வாரத்தைச் சொன்னால் ஆயுள் வளரும்.
- நக்ஷத்திரம் – நக்ஷத்திரத்தைச் சொன்னால் பாவம் நீங்கும்.
- யோகம் – யோகத்தைச் சொன்னால் ரோகம் (வியாதி) நீங்கும்.
- கரணம் – கரணத்தைச் சொன்னால் காரியம் சித்தியாகும்.
நங்கநல்லூர் வேதபுரி சாஸ்திரிகள் பெரியவா சொல்படி இன்றும் பஞ்சாங்கம் தினமும் வாசிப்பவர்.
குழந்தைகளின் ஆயுள் விருத்திக்கு என்ன செய்யணும்னு மகாப் பெரியவர் சொன்னது:
குழந்தைகளுக்கு எண்ணெய் தேய்க்கும்போது
“”அஸ்வத்தாமா பலிவ்யாச: ஹனுமானஞ்ச விபீஷணக்ருப பரசுராமஞ்ச சப்னததே சிரஞ்சீவிந:”
என்று சொல்லி தொடையில் ஏழு பொட்டு எண்ணெய் வைத்துத் தேய்க்க வேண்டும். குழந்தைகளின் ஜன்ம நஷத்திரத்திற்கு மாசாமாசம் ஆயுஷ்ய ஹோமம் பண்ணணும்.

The essence of the message is:
Many rare insights were obtained when Mahaperiyava talked to close devotees.Some such insights are:
1. Lakshmiamma was rendering devoted service. She suffered from cancer. Mahaperiyava gave her a shlokam [ from Narayaneeyam, Dasakam 8, shlokam 13, beginning “Asmin paraatman…”] and asked her to recite it She did so and was cured of her cancer. Mahaperiyava’s instruction is that this shloka must be recited 108 times daily for 45 days for getting cure.
2.Mahaperiyava also said that everyone should read the Panchangam daily. The benefits derived are:
– knowing thithi confers aishvarya
– knowing the Vaaram( day) confers longevity
– knowing the Nakshatra removes papam
– knowing Yogam removes illness (Rogam)
– knowing karanam leads to karya siddhi.
[ Knowing here means reading and learning these 5 aspects of the Hindu calendar daily].
Nanganallur Vedapuri mama reads panchangam daily even now.
3. What should be done to ensure longevity of children? This is what Mahaperiyava said:
When giving oil bath to children, the following mantra should be said and 7 drops of oil should be applied on the thigh [ This is done first before applying oil elsewhere on the body]
Ashwathaama Bali Vyasa Hanumaanancha Vibheeshana
Krupa Parashuraamancha Saptathe Chiranjeevina:
Ayush Homa should be performed every month on the day of Janma Nakshatra of the child.
In the 1950s our grandma and mom used to chant this manthra and gave us the OilBath on every Saturday. With time we lost the practice…….
இந்த ஶ்லோகம் ஸ்ரீமந் நாராயணீயத்தில் 8வது தஶகத்தில் வரும் 13 வது ஶ்லோகம். அதன் ஸம்ஸ்க்ருத வடிவம் கீழே தருகிறேன்.
अस्मिन् परात्मन् ननु पाद्मकल्पे
त्वमित्थमुत्थापितपद्मयोनि: ।
अनन्तभूमा मम रोगराशिं
निरुन्धि वातालयवास विष्णो ॥१३॥
ஒவ்வொரு சனிக்கிழமையும் ஆண்குழந்தைகளுக்கும் வெள்ளிக் கிழமை பெண்குழந்தைகளுக்கும் எண்ணெய் தேய்த்து விடுவது சுமார் 50 வருஷங்களுக்கு முன்புவரை சாதாரணமாக நடந்தது. எண்ணை தேய்க்கும்போது துடையில் 7 பொட்டு எண்ணை வைப்பார்கள். அன்று வெளியில் வெய்யிலில் அலைய விடமாட்டார்கள். அதிகம் படிப்பதைக்கூட அனுமதிக்கமாட்டார்கள்.( கண்களுக்கு ஓய்வு) அன்று ரசம் சமைக்க மாட்டார்கள். இந்த வழக்கம் இன்று அனேகமாக அடியோடு நின்றுவிட்டது போல் தோன்றுகிறது. இங்கிலீஷ் மீடியம் பள்ளிகள், பெரியவர்கள் -உறவினர்கள் இல்லாத தனிக்குடித்தனம் ஆகியவை சில காரணமெனத் தோன்றுகிறது.

பராத்மன் = பரப்ரும்ம ஸ்வருபியாயும் இருக்கிற
ந நு விஷ்ணோ = ஓ விஷ்ணுவே
அஸ்மின் = இந்த
பாத்ம கல்பே = பாத்ம கல்பத்தில்
இத்தம் = இவ்விதம்
உத்தாபித பத்மயோனி = ஶ்ருஷ்டிக்கப்பட ப்ரம்மதேவரை உடையவராகவும்
