It was nice to watch Abishegam and alankaram with lots of devotees.
Abhisegam and alankaram to Nandhikeshwarar was really wonderful.
Even though we were not able to go Kanchipuram physically we were present there mentally .
Does anybody know why these activities are stopped?
We will pray to Shri MahaPeriyava for the same to take place in future .

  3. The magnificence of the monument is brought out well. But the extensive granite slab paving on the ground is distressing. It will make the area unwalkable on bare feet. Besides, it spoils the aesthetics. There should be greenery around, with natural shrubs, flower plants and possibly fruit trees. One should see how the thousand year old religious monuments are preserved in as pristine a condition as possible in Japan, in spite of its technological excellence. Leaving the ground open, ie without granite paving will also allow for rain water to fall, gather and pool, and and percolate, thus charging the ground water.

  4. Super

  5. Thank you
