ஸ்ரீ ரா.கணபதி  கண்ட  மஹாபெரியவா——series 3—chapter 8

ஸ்ரீ  சந்திரமௌளீஸ்வர  பூஜையில் பயனாகும்  தங்க  உத்தரணியைக்  காணவில்லை  என்று  தெரியவந்தது.  சந்தர்ப்ப  சாக்ஷியங்கள்  வெகு  தெளிவாக  ஒரு  குறிப்பிட்ட  சிப்பந்தியையே  குற்றவாளியாகக்  காட்டிக்  கொடுத்தன.

ஸ்ரீ  சரணர்களோ அந்த  நபரை  அன்றிரவு  கூப்பிட்டுக்  குற்றவாளிக்  கூண்டில்  ஏற்றாமலும்,  அந்தக்  களவு  பற்றி  எதுவும்  கூறாமலும்  அவரிடம்  நயமாக,  நேயமாக  நீள  நெடுகப்  பேசிப் போனார்கள்.  அவர்  பெயரைச்  சொல்லி  அவர்  கூப்பிட்ட  குழைவு  உண்டே!

கூப்பிட்டு, அவரைக் குற்றவாளிக் கூண்டில் ஏற்றாததோடு தம்மையே ஏற்றிக் கொண்டாக்கும் கூறினார்!

“இந்த நாள்ல ராஜாங்கத்துல, கம்பெனிகள்ல கொடுக்கற சம்பளத்துல வீசப் பங்குகூட ஒங்களுக்கெல்லாம் நான் தரேனோ இல்லியோ? அங்கேல்லாம் ஒரு ப்யூனுக்குத் தரதுதான் இங்கே மானேஜருக்கே இருக்கும்! எந்த ஹைதர் காலத்துலேயோ ஏற்படுத்தின சம்பளத் திட்டத்தை ஏறக்கொறய அப்படியேதான் விட்டு வெச்சிருக்கேன்.

“ஆசார்யாள் பேருக்காக ஊரார் கொண்டு வந்து கொட்றதை நாம் வாரிவிட்டுடப்படாது. ஸமூஹத்துக்கு நாம ‘அக்கவுண்டபிள்-ங்கிறது ஒரு காரணம். அதுவுந் தவிர, நம்ம சாஸ்த்ரமே ரொம்ப எளிமையாகத்தான் வாழணும்னு சொல்லி அதை நானும் ஊர் ஊராச் சொல்லிண்டு வரேன். அப்படி இருக்கச்சே இங்கேயும், இங்கே சேர்ந்தவாளும், வெளியில நடக்கற ‘தாட்பூட்’ மாதிரியே பண்ணினா சரியாயிருக்குமா? ‘தரித்ரமே நல்லதுதான், அப்பதான் சிக்கனம் வரும்’கிறதையும் இங்கேயாவது என்னால முடிஞ்ச மட்டும் அமுல் பண்ணிக் காட்டணும்னும்…………அதோட, இங்கே வேலை பாக்கறதுங்கறது மத்த எடங்கள்ல அந்தஸ்து, பர்ஸ் ரொம்பறது முதலானதுகளுக்காக உத்யோகம் பாக்கற மாதிரி இல்லே. ஆசார்யாளுக்குக் கைங்கர்யம்-ங்கிறதுதான் இங்கே வேலை பாக்கறதுக்கு உயிர்நிலை. அப்படியிருக்கச்சே இங்கேயும் மத்த எடம் மாதிரியே சம்பளம் சாடி-ன்னு ஒசத்தி செஞ்சுட்டா அது ஆபீஸ் உத்யோகந்தானே தவிர ஆசார்யாள் கைங்கர்யமா இருக்காது. கைங்கர்யம்னா, குறிப்பா குரு கைங்கர்யம்னா, அதுல ஒரு தியாக அம்சமும் இருந்தாத்தான் அந்தப் பேர் பொருந்தும்.

“இப்படிப் பல காரணம் சொன்னாலும், நடைமுறைல கூட்டிக் கழிச்சுப் பாத்தா ஒங்களையெல்லாம் ரொம்ப மட்டுச் சம்பளத்துல  வெச்சுக் கஷ்டந்தான் படுத்திண்டு இருக்கேன். ஆசார்யாள் கைங்கர்யம்னுதான் நீங்கள்ளாமும் அதைக் கவனிக்காம ஒட்டிண்டிருக்கேள்……”

மீண்டும் அச் சிப்பந்தியைத் தேனொழுகப் பெயர்  சொல்லிக் கூப்பிட்டுத் தொடர்கிறார்: “நான் குடுக்கறமட்டுச் சம்பளத்துல ஊர் ஒலகத்தார் மாதிரி ஒன்னால ஆத்துக்கு எதுவும் பண்ண முடியாதுதான்; இருந்தாலும் எனக்கு ஒரு ஆசை. என்னன்னா, இத்தனை காலமா ஸ்வாமி கைங்கர்யம் சரீரத்தாலே பண்ணிண்டு வரயே, மட்டுச் சம்பளமாச்சேன்னு  மூஞ்சியைச் சுளிக்காம பண்ணிண்டு வரயே, இதோடகூட இன்னும் தியாகமாக நீ ஒண்ணு பண்ணணும்னு ஆசை. சரீர கைங்கர்யத்தோட த்ரவ்ய (திரவிய) கைங்கர்யமாயும் நீ ஸ்வாமிக்கு ஒண்ணு பண்ணி, ஸ்தூலமா நீ பண்ணி  வெச்சதுன்னு காட்டும்படியா என்னிக்கும் இருக்கணும்னு ஆசை. அதனால, நீ ஒன் கஷ்ட தசைலயும் இன்னும் கஷ்டப்பட்டுண்டு, வயித்தக் கட்டி வாயக் கட்டி, மாஸா மாஸம் ஒண்ணோ அரையோ மீத்தி, இப்படியே நூறு வயஸூ வரைக்கும்…….(மீண்டும் மனமாரக் கூறுகிறார்) நூறு வயஸூ இப்படியே மடத்துக் கைங்கர்யம் பண்ணிண்டு துளித் துளியா ஒண்ணு, அரை, கால்னு சேத்து ஸ்வாமிக்கு ஒரு ஸ்வர்ண உத்தரிணி பண்ணி வெச்சுடு.

“வெக்கறயா?” என்று விண்ணப்பிக்கும் பாவத்தில் கேட்டு முடித்தார்.

பிரஸ்தாவ நபர் முகத்தில் ஈயாடவில்லை. ஸ்ரீசரணருக்கு நமஸ்காரங்கூடச் செய்யாமல் மௌனமாக நகர்ந்தார்.

மறுநாள் விடியற்காலம் ஸ்ரீசரணர் விச்வரூப தரிசனம்** தர வந்தபோதே பஞ்ச பாத்திரத்துக்குள் காணமற்போன தங்க உத்தரிணியும் தரிசனம் தந்தது!

ஸ்ரீசரணர்கள் சிப்பந்தியிடம் பேசியதைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு பக்தை –- தாயிடம் குழந்தைபோல அவர்களிடம் ஓரளவு  ஸ்வாதீனமாகவே பேசும் பக்தை -– அவர்களிடம் மனக் கரவு இல்லாமல் கேட்டாள்: “லோகத்துக்குப் பெரியவா கருணாமூர்த்தியாக இருந்து கொண்டு, தப்பையெல்லாம் மன்னித்துப் பேசலாம்தான். ஆனால் இந்த மடத்துக்குப் பெரியவா அதிபதி ஆயிற்றே! அதனால் மடத்துச் சிப்பந்திகள் தப்புப் பண்ணும்போது கோபித்துக் கொண்டு நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவும் நியாயமுண்டுதானே? பின்னே ஏன் பெரியவா கொஞ்சங்கூட கோபித்துக்கொள்ளாமல் அப்படித் தழைந்து கேட்டுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்?”

அப்போதுதான் பளிச்சென்று அவர் விடை பகர்ந்தார் –- அல்லது அந்த விடை தானாகப் பளிச்சென்று திருவாயில் வந்துவிட்டது! பக்தை மனம் திறந்து கேட்டதும் மஹானின் மனமும் நன்றாகத் திறந்துகொண்டு, அடியில் புதைந்து வைத்திருந்ததைப் பிதிர்த்து விட்டது போலும்!

“நீயானா எனக்கு ஏன் கோவம் வரலேங்கிற! எனக்கானா எங்கே கோவம் வந்துடுமோன்னுதான் ஸர்வதா ஜாக்ரதை பண்ணிக்க வேண்டியதாயிருக்கு! ஏன்னா, எனக்கு மட்டும் கோவம் வந்துட்டா அப்பறம் என்ன ஆறது? அதனாலதான், ஏழேழு தலைமுறைக்கும் யாருக்கும் என்னவும் (கெடுதல்) வந்துடப்படாதேன்னு கோவமே எழும்பாம அமுக்கிப் போடறது.”

** விழிப்பு என்ற ‘ஜாக்ரத்’ நிலைக்கு ‘விச்லன்’ என்பவன் அதிதேவதை. எனவே விழித்தெழுந்தவுடன் மஹான்கள் தரும் தரிசனம் ‘விச்வரூபம்’ எனப்படுகிறது.

Maha Periyava As Shri Ra. Ganapathy Saw Him-Series 3-Part 8

Once  it  was  found  that  the  golden  spoon (Uddharani) used  in  Sri  Chandramouleeswara  Pooja  was  missing.  Circumstantial  evidence  clearly  pointed  to  a  particular  person  as  the  one  who  had  committed  this  crime.

But  Sree  Saranar  did  not  put  the  person  in  the  dock,  nor  even  mentioned  about  the  incident  to  him;  but  He  talked  to  him  that  night  at  length  very  nicely.  How  affectionately  He  addressed  him  then!

Instead  of  putting  him  in  the  box,  He  put  Himself  there  and  spoke  to  him.

“I  am  not  paying  you  people  even  a  miniscule  percentage  of  what  the  government  and  private  companies  pay  to  their  employees.  The  manager’s  salary  here  will  be  equal  to  the  peon’s salary  there.  I  have   more  or  less  left  the   salary  structure  made  during  the  very  old  days,  as  it  is.”

“One  reason  for  this  is  that  the  money  that  the  public  is  giving  in  the  name  of  AchArya  should  not  be  squandered.  We  should  be  accountable  to    the  society.  More  over  our  SAstrAs  have  advised  us  that  we  should  lead  a  very  simple  life,  which  I  am  telling  everyone  everywhere.  That  being  the  case,  is  it  right  for  those  who  serve  here  to  lead  a  life  of  luxury?    In  fact  ‘poverty’  is  good.  I  want  to  show  to  people  here  that  only  then  ‘frugality’  can  be  put  into  practice;   besides,  working  here  is  not  like  working  in  other  places  to  fill  the  purse  and  create  a  status.  The  vital  objective    here  is  to  serve  Acharya  only.  Therefore,  if  the  salary  and  other  comforts  are  raised  here  like  in  other  workplaces,  then  it  is  not  ‘AchArya  Kainkaryam’ (service to  AchArya.),  but  office  work  only.  ‘The  expression  ‘AchArya  Kainkaryam’  or  ‘Guru  Kainkaryam’  will  suit  to  this  service  only  if  there  is  a  mindset  of  sacrifice.”

“Though  I  justify  it  this  way,  it  all  comes  down  finally  that  I  am  paying  you  very  low  salaries  and  putting  you  in  difficulties.  All  of  you  are  not  minding  this  and  are  continuing  to  serve  here  taking  it   as  ‘AchArya  Kainkaryam’.”

He  addresses  him  again  affectionately  and  says,  “  True  You  cannot  do  anything  to  your  family  like  others  do   with  the  meager  salary  that  I  am  paying  you,  but  still  I  have  a  small  wish.  To  this  day  you  have  been  doing   ‘Swami  Karyam’  (service  to God)  without  frowning,  not  minding  the  small  salary  you  get;   I  want  you  to  do  one  more   sacrifice  additionally;  in  addition  to  the  physical  service  you  are  doing  to  the  ‘Swami’,  do  a  ‘draviya  kainkaryam’ (offering  a  material  object);  that  should  be  something  which  will  show  that  ‘you’  have  offered   something  to  the  God.  Therefore,  even  in  your  difficult  living  condition,   save  a  rupee  or  two  every  month  by  being  more  frugal,  till  you  live  for  hundred  years  (He  repeats  this  again),  along  with  your  service  to  Sree Matam,  save  some  money  and  get  a  golden  spoon  made  for  ‘Swami’.   Will  you  do  it?”

The  person  just  kept  a  glum  face  with  no  expression   and  left  the  place  without  even  prostrating  before  Periava.

Early   next   morning,  when  Periava  came  to  give  ‘Viswaroopa  Dharsan’,  the  ‘missing’  golden   spoon  was  in  the  ‘Pancha  PAtram’!

A  lady  devotee  who   was  listening  to  Periava   when  He  was  talking  to  the  attendant—she  used  to  speak  very  freely  to  Him  as  a  child  would   to  its  mother—  asked  Him,  “  Periava,  as  a  ‘KaunA  Murthy’  to  the  whole  world  may  certainly  pardon  the persons  making  mistakes,  but  Periava  is  the  chief  of  this  Matam.  Therefore,  it  is  justified  that  Periava  should  punish  those  attendants  who  commit  such  mistakes.  Why  should  Periava   be  so  humble  and  request   them?”

That  was  when  He  replied  spontaneously  —-or  the  reply  just  jumped  out  of  His  mouth !   When  the  devotee  opened  up  her  heart  and  asked  Him,  the  great  soul’s  heart  also  opened  out  and  what  He   had  in  His  inner  heart  spilled  out!

“You  are  asking  me  why  I  did  not  get  angry?  But  I  have  to be  always  on  the  guard  not  to  get  angry.  Because,  what  will  happen  if  I  get  angry?  That  is  why,    I  make  sure  that  the  anger  is  suppressed  in  order  that  no  one  should  come  to  any  harm   in  any  of  their  births.”
