அவதாரத்திற்குப் பூர்வாங்கம்

ஊரில் திருட்டுப் புரட்டு இருக்கப்படாது என்ற ஸங்கல்பத்தில்தான் போலீஸ் ஸ்டேஷன் வைப்பது. ஆனாலும் நம்மகத்தில் திருட்டுப் போகும்போது நாம் ‘கம்ப்ளெய்ன்ட்’ கொடுத்தால்தானே போலீஸில் கேஸ் எடுக்கிறார்கள்? அப்படி ஈச்வரனும் அவதாரம் பண்ணுவதற்குமுன் இரண்டு ‘பெடிஷன்’ எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டு உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார் — ஒரு பத்ததி வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக; தமக்கு மரியாதை வேண்டுமென்பதற்காக இல்லை! லோகத்திலுள்ளவர்களுக்கு மரியாதைப் பத்ததி தெரியவேண்டுமென்பதற்காக இப்படி உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்.

ஒரு பெடிஷன் தேவர்கள் கொடுக்கவேண்டியது. அவர்களைத்தான் லோக நிர்வாஹத்துக்கு ‘இன்-சார்ஜ்’ கொடுத்து இவர் அதிகாரிகளாகப் போட்டிருப்பது. அதனால் லோகத்தில் ஒரு பெரிய கஷ்டம் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கிறது, தர்மம் திருட்டுப் போகிறது என்றால் அவர்கள் வந்து விண்ணப்பித்துக் கொள்ளவேண்டும். அப்போதுதான் ஸ்வாமி கேஸ் எடுப்பார்.

இன்னொரு பெடிஷன் வரப்போகிற அப்பா-அம்மா கொடுக்க வேண்டியது. பிறப்பேயில்லாத பரமேச்வரன் தாமாகப் போய் எவரோ ஒருத்தருக்குப் பிள்ளையாகப் பிறக்கலாமா? நிரம்ப யோக்யதாம்சமுள்ள தம்பதி யாராவது மனஸ் உருகிப் பிள்ளை வரம் கேட்டுப் பிரார்த்திக்க வேண்டும். அதுதான் பெடிஷன். அதை வாங்கிக்கொண்டு அங்கே போய்ப் பிறந்து விடுவார்.

எல்லா அவதாரத்திலும் இப்படித்தான்-இரண்டு பெடிஷன்கள். ராமாவதார, க்ருஷ்ணாவதாரக் கதையாவது தெரியுமோல்லியோ? தேவர்கள் போய் பகவானிடம் முறையிட்ட பிறகுதானே அந்த அவதாரங்கள் நடந்தன? அதோடு தசரதன் பெரிசாக புத்ர காமேஷ்டி பண்ணித்தான் பகவான் அவனைத் தகப்பனாராக வரித்து அவதாரம் செய்தது. க்ருஷ்ணர் விஷயத்தில்-அநேக யுகங்கள், மன்வந்தரங்களுக்கு முன் ஒரு தம்பதி (ஸுதபஸ் என்ற ப்ரஜாபதியும், அவரது பத்னியான ப்ருச்னியும்) நீண்ட காலம் தபஸ் இருந்து, பகவானே தங்களுக்கு அந்த ஜன்மத்தில் மட்டுமின்றி மூன்று தடவை புத்ரனாகப் பிறக்கவேண்டுமென்று வரம் வாங்கிக்கொண்டார்கள். அதில் மூன்றாவது தான் க்ருஷ்ணாவதாரம். அந்த தம்பதி அப்போது தேவகி-வஸுதேவர்களாகப் பிறந்திருந்தார்கள். இதற்கு முன் அவர்கள் அதிதியாகவும் கச்யபராகவும் இருந்தபோது, பகவான் கொடுத்த வரப்படி அவர்களுக்கு இரண்டாம் தடவை பிறந்ததுதான் வாமனாவதாரம்.

இப்படியெல்லாம் மஹாவிஷ்ணு பத்ததி பார்த்து, பிகு பண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவதாரம் பண்ணியுள்ளபோது ஈச்வரன் மட்டும் சும்மா பூலோகத்துக்கு வந்து விடுவாரா?

உள்ளுக்குள்ளே அவருக்கு பிகுவும் இல்லை, ஒன்றும் இல்லை. கருணையில் மனஸ் கிடந்து அடித்துக் கொண்டுதானிருந்தது!

Prelude to the incarnation

Police stations are established only with the intention that there should not be thefts, robberies, etc., in the locality.  Still, if there is a theft in our house, don’t they take up the case only after we lodge a complaint?  In the same way, Eswaran was sitting, expecting two ’petitions’ before He took the incarnation – to follow a set protocol, not for seeking respect for him!  He was waiting so that the people of the world understood the respectful tradition.

Devas have to submit one petition.  They have been given the ‘in-charge’ and identified as administrators for the world, by Him.  Therefore, when there is a big problem, Dharma is being robbed off, He will take action only when they come and request Him.

The other petition has to be given by the would-be parents.  Can the birth-less Parameswara take birth as a son to someone, on his own?  A much deserving couple has to sincerely pray for being blessed with a son.  That is the petition.  Receiving that, He would take birth there (in that family).

This is the case with all incarnations – 2 petitions.  (You all) must be knowing the stories of Rama and Krishna incarnations no?  Didn’t those incarnations happen only after Devas had gone to Him and sought His intervention?  Further, He deemed Dasaratha as his parent and incarnated as his son, only when Dasaratha had performed the grand Puthra Kameshti Yagna.  In the case of Krishna, a couple (Prajapathi alias Suthapas and his wife, Prishni), several Yugas and Manvanthras before, had prayed and obtained a boon, that Bhagawan himself should give birth as their son, not only in that life but should be born to them, three times.  The incarnation of Krishna was the third.  That couple had born as Devaki and Vasudeva that time.  Before that, when they were as Athithi and Kashyapa, Bhagawan’s birth to them for the second time, as per the boon given, was that of Vamana avatara.

Would Parameswara alone, descend on the earth, so easily, when Mahavishnu had observed such procedures and obliged only with much ado?

Internally, He was not having any pride or anything but his heart was already anxious, out of compassion.
