சக்தி உள்ளடங்கிய தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தியின் அவதாரம்

‘இன்னொரு ரூபமான பரமேச்வரன்’ என்றேன். ஆனால் அந்தப் பரமேச்வரனுக்கே பல ரூபமிருக்கிறதே, கல்யாணஸுந்தரமூர்த்தி, ஸோமாஸ்கந்தமூர்த்தி, நடராஜ மூர்த்தி, பைரவ மூர்த்தி என்றெல்லாம்! இவற்றில் எதிலிருந்து அவதாரத்தைப் பிறப்பிப்பது? ஸந்நியாஸி குருவாக அவதாரம் ஏற்படணுமென்று சொல்லியாயிற்று. ஆகையால் பத்னியோடிருக்கிற இந்த அவஸரங்களிலிருந்து அவதாரம் உண்டாவதற்கில்லை. ஏனென்றால் பதி பூலோகத்துக்குப் போகிறபோது அம்பாளும்தானே கூடக் கிளம்புவாள்?…பைரவருக்கும் பைரவி என்று பத்னி உண்டு. அதுவுமில்லாமல் அவர் பயங்கரமான மூர்த்தி. பைரவம் என்றாலே பயங்கரம்தான். பயங்கரமாக, இருக்கிறவர் பரம சாந்த நிலையை உபதேசிக்க வருவதென்றால் அஸந்தர்பமல்லவா? ப்ரசாந்த நிலையிலுள்ள ஒரு அவஸரத்திலிருந்து இந்த அவதாரம் ஏற்படுவதுதானே பொருத்தம்?

இதனாலெல்லாம், பத்னி ஸமேதனாயில்லாமல், ஏகாங்கியாக, அடங்கிய சாந்த ஸமுத்ரமாக, நிஷ்கரிய நிஷ்டாமூர்த்தியாக, ஆதி குரு என்றே பெயர் பெற்று விளங்கும் தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தியிடமிருந்தே இந்த அவதாரம் உண்டாக வேண்டுமென்று திவ்ய ஸங்கல்பமாயிற்று.

ஒன்று சொல்லாமல் விடக்கூடாது. பத்னி ஸமேதனாகத் தெரியாவிட்டாலும் பரமேச்வரன் அம்பாளின் ஸம்பந்தம் இல்லாமலிருப்பது என்பது ஒரு போதும் கிடையாது. தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி ஸ்வரூபத்திலுங்கூடத்தான்! அதேபோல அம்பாளும் பாலா த்ரிபுரஸுந்தரி, கன்யாகுமாரி, துர்காதேவி என்றெல்லாம் ஈச்வரனோடு சேர்ந்தில்லாமல் தனியாகக் காணப்படும் ஸமயங்களிலும், நம் காட்சிக்குத்தான் அவன் தெரியவில்லையே தவிர, அவன் அவளிடமிருந்து பிரிந்திருக்கிறான் என்று ஒருபோதும் இல்லை. சிவ-சக்திகளை ஒருபோதும் பிரிக்கவே முடியாது. நிர்குண-ஸகுண ப்ரம்மங்களைத் தான் (முறையே) சிவன்-சக்தி என்பது. இரண்டும் சேர்ந்துதான் பரப்ரம்மம். லோகத்தில் பல தினுஸாக விளையாடி, காட்சி கொடுத்து, பல விதமான பாடங்களைக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும், பல விதமான தத்வங்களை உணர்த்த வேண்டும் — பல விதமான ரஸங்களைத் தரும் கதை புராணங்களாக நடித்தே இப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டும் — என்றுதான் அவர்கள் சில அவஸரங்களில் தம்பதியாகவும். சில அவஸரங்களில் ஒண்டியாக, ஏகாங்கியாகவும் இருப்பது.

பரமஞானமான தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி ஸ்வரூபத்தில் பரமேச்வரன் நிஷ்க்ரியமாக உட்கார்ந்திருக்கும்போதும் அவருக்குள்ளே ஸகல க்ரியா சக்தியுமான ஸாக்ஷாத் அம்பிகையை அவர் நம் கண்ணுக்குத் காட்டாமல் வைத்துக் கொண்டுதானிருப்பவர். இல்லாவிட்டால் அந்த நிஷ்க்ரிய மூர்த்தி அவதாரம் என்ற க்ரியையையே பண்ணியிருக்க முடியாது! அவதரித்தபின் ஆஸேது ஹிமாசலம் மூன்றுதரம் இந்தப் பெரிய தேசத்தைச் சுற்றி வருவது, கட்டுக் கட்டாகப் புஸ்தகம் எழுதுவது, ஊர் ஊராகப் போய் வாதம் செய்வது, பேர் பேராக அநுக்ரஹம் செய்வது என்றெல்லாமும் செய்திருக்க முடியாது.

அவதாரத்துக்குப் பெயரே என்ன?

சங்கரர்.

‘கரர்’ என்றாலே ‘செய்கிறவர்’, ‘காரியம் பண்ணுகிறவர்’ என்றுதான் அர்த்தம். ‘சம்’ என்றால் உயர்ந்த மங்களமான ஸுகம். லோகத்திற்கெல்லாம் பரம மங்களத்தை விடாமல் செய்கிறவர்‘சங்கரர்’.

செயலில்லாத தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி இப்படி வந்தார் என்றால் எப்படி? க்ரியா சக்தி-இச்சா சக்தி, ஞான சக்தி ஆகியனவுந்தான் — எல்லா சக்திகளுக்கும் மூலமான பராசக்தி அவருக்குள்ளேயே ஸூக்ஷ்மமாக அடங்கியிருந்ததால்தான்!

Incarnation of Dhakshinamurthy, encompassing Shakthi

I mentioned that it was Parameswara, in another form.  But that Parameswara himself has so many forms, like Kalyanasundaramurthy, Somaskandamurthy, Natarajamurthy, Bairavamurthy, etc!  From which one of these, should the incarnation happen?  It was already decided that the incarnation will be as a renunciate teacher.  Therefore, it is not possible to have the incarnations from these forms who are with their spouses.  Why because, if the husband goes to material world, would not Ambal also start off?  Bhairava also has a wife, by the name Bhairavi.  Not only that, He is a ferocious deity.  Bhairavam itself means, terrible.  Would it not be inappropriate if such a terrible person has to come to teach the most peaceful state?  Would it not be proper that this incarnation should happen from a tranquil form?

That is why, it was a divine decision that this incarnation should happen from Dhakshinamurthy, who is without a spouse, single, ocean of peace, remaining action less, already known as the first preceptor.

One thing should not be left unsaid.  Although not appearing to be with spouse, Parameswara is never without the link with Ambal.   In the form of Dhakshinamurthy also.  Similarly, even Ambal, when she is in the form of Bala Thripurasundari, Kanyakumari, Durgadevi, etc. (alone and not with Eswara,) may appear to our sight that she is not with Eswara, it is never that He is away from her.  Shiva-Sakthi can never be separated.  Quality-less and Virtuous Brahmams only are called Shiva and Shakthi respectively.  Together called as, The Supreme Spirit.  Only in order to play out differently, show different forms, provide different lessons (teachings), put across different truths and to enact legends and stories which give different flavours, they are sometimes together as couple and sometimes alone and single.

Even in the form of Dhakshinamurthy, an epitome of ultimate knowledge and sitting action-less, He would still be having within Him, invisible to us, the very Ambika, who is all powerful energy.  Otherwise, it would not have been possible to do the act of taking the action-less incarnation.  It would have been also not possible to tour around this big country stretching from Sethu to Himalayas three times, author bundles of books, debate going to different places, bless different people, etc.

What is the incarnation itself called?

Sankarar.

“Karar” itself means, one who does, a person doing an action.  “Sum”, means the ultimate auspicious bliss.  “Sankarar” is the one who brings prosperity to the world ceaselessly.

How could the action-less Dhakshinamurthy come like this?  It is because, Parasakthi, the source of all energy, action, Will and Knowledge is encompassed subtly in Him.
