It is very important we all come together during these tough times and not go astray with various divided opinions that is floating around the media most of which is totally baseless, untrue, and created purely to beat up Sanatana Dharma and Sri Matam.
As Periyava followers we need to follow Sri Periyava’s upadesams more intensely and leave the rest to him. The objective of this post is not to poke our noses more deep into the dirty media and politics but be cautious, stay united, and express our protest in a dharmic way. As HH Bala Periyava often says all we need to do is put in our efforts as well as pray to Bhagawan (Praarthanai & Prayathanam).
On a side note, in the light of recent events, Guruji Gopalavallidasar and various other Sanatana Dharma leaders are organizing many peaceful rallies and dharmic protests to put an end to all these atrocities. Sai, few days ago when Andal Ammai was defamed by Vairamuthu, I was asking in the same blog to stay united by Hindus to face such false propagandas. I was countered by several visitors here to remain calm and get provoked by any means (probably you read those comments too). Today, being calm has yielded the fruit. I was not talking about violence against those against Hindus, but protest strongly outwardly to them to show that we Hindus are remain united when there is such need arises. Now the need has come. What we do?
As long we remain calm in the name of secularism or any other reason, these vested interest people one day go to any extend. Let’s protest strongly, outwardly but again without any violence act. We also need to take this issue to PM’s office to curtail this right from budding itself.

நேற்றைய டிவி விவாதங்களில் , ஸ்ரீமடம் பெரியவர்களுக்கு தமிழ் மொழி பற்று கிடையாது என சிலர் பேசினார். அவர்களுக்கு பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை. நம்மவர்களுக்கு தெரியும். இருப்பினும் இதோ ஓர் எடுத்துக்காட்டு:
ஸ்ரீ காஞ்சி பெரியவர்கள் ஒரு சமயம் தருமபுர ஆதீனத்திற்குச் சென்றிருந்தபோது , அங்கிருந்த வேத பாடசாலை மற்றும் ஆகம பாடசாலைகளைப் பார்த்துவிட்டு , தேவார பாடசாலைக்கு விஜயம் செய்த போது, பாடசாலை ஆசிரியராக இருந்த ஸ்ரீ வேலாயுத ஓதுவாமூர்த்திகள் ஏதோ காரியமாக மடத்தின் வேறு பகுதிக்குச் சென்றிருந்தார்கள். பாடசாலை குழந்தைகளிடம் மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் உரையாடிய ஸ்ரீ பெரியவர்கள், ஸ்ரீ அப்பர் ஸ்வாமிகள் தேவாரத்தில் இருந்து ஒரு திருத்தாண்டகம் பாடிக்காட்டுமாறு ஒரு மாணவனிடம் கேட்டார்கள். உடனே அவன், திருப்புன்கூர் சிவலோகநாத சுவாமி மீது அப்பர் பெருமான் பாடிய திருத் தாண்டகப் பதிகத்திலிருந்து ஒரு பாடலைப் பாட ஆரம்பித்தான். அவன் பாடிய அப் பாடலின் முதல் இரு வரிகள் பின்வருமாறு:
கலை ஞானம் கல்லாமே கற்பித்தானை
கடுநரகம் சாராமே காப்பான் தன்னை
யாரிடமும் கற்காமலேயே எல்லாக் கலைகளையும் மெய் ஞானத்தையும் உபதேசித்தவன். தனது அடியார்களை நரகம் புகாமல் காப்பவன் என்பதே அந்த வரிகளின் பொருள். அம்மாணவனுக்கு பயம் காரணமாக மேற்கொண்டு ஞாபகம் வரவில்லை. ஆனால் பெரியவர்களோ, அந்த இரண்டு வரிகளைத் திரும்பத் திரும்பப் பாடுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொண்டதால், அச்சிறுவனும் அதையே மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பாடிக்கொண்டிருந்தான். மெய்மறந்து பெரியவர்கள் இதைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்ததை அங்கு வந்து சேர்ந்த பாடசாலை ஆசிரியர் பார்த்துப் பரவசப்பட்டவராக, மீதி வரிகளையும் பாடிக்காட்டினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியைப் பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் ஸ்ரீ தருமபுரம் சுவாமிநாத ஓதுவாமூர்த்திகள் சொல்லக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன். அத்தகைய தாண்டகப் பாடல்களில் இருந்து ஒன்றை இங்கு சிந்திப்போமாக:( Nandri- deivathamizh blogspot.in October 2010…wonderful blogspot…see everyone

Tamil like Sanskrit has originated from Lord Shiva, nay Lord Shiva Himself has revealed and manifested as these two languages. Hence Tamil is Divine. This is the position of true Astikas . Can there be a more exalted level of respect for the language?
We astikas should stand united and not get distracted by mischief makers
