Happy Pongal! பொங்கலோ பொங்கல்!!

Thai Pongal Greetings.jpg

After a long time, I am in Chennai for Pongal. It is an amazing feeling to be here. The entire city is busy in shopping for Pongal – streets are packed with sugarcanes, turmeric etc. As usual, the clothing stores are packed….More travelers going to their native places on the road and thankfully the bus strike was over to make things little easier.

On this auspicious day, I wish all the readers and their families a very happy pongal. As the saying goes “தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும்”, let us pray Lord Surya to bless us with health, wealth and prosperity.

Our namaskaram to our acharyas on this auspicious day.

Pongalo Pongal!!

Sri Suryanarayana Swami Padhukam Pujayami Namaha!
