It has been few months since a blog for Sri Periyava (www.srijayendraperiyava.wordpress.com) had started with His blessings. Thanks to all who have subscribed for that blog also. Those who have not done so, please subscribe.
I only can tell you how this blog started in 2009 and how it grew – all His grace. HH Pudhuperiyava’s blog already started off with a high note, I see quite some folks coming to the blog to check out the photos etc and I am sure it is going to grow and become more active in the days ahead. As you can see I am trying to keep it active as much as possible. However, I can’t do it alone….I need volunteers and you all to help me with more contents for this blog in the same way you did for Mahaperiyava blog.
We are the always the ones who do not recognize or pay due respect to Mahans when they are in sthula sareeram. This is applicable to Mahaperiyava also. We were the ones who criticized Mahaperiyava so badly when He wrote Maitrim Bhajate for U.N, we were the ones who ran to other swamijis for magic tricks etc. We threw stones at Bagawan Ramanar. We were the ones who trusted the rowdy newspapers than our jagadguru and stayed away from visiting the Matam at difficult times etc and the list goes on….We have a solid track record for all these….We never learn – it is the sad part.
Those who have been associated with Sri Matam for a long time can tell how much Sri Pudhuperiyava had spent every drop of His sweat and blood for the Vedam, vaideekas, sivacharyas, Sri Matam and for all social causes. The blog that I started is to bring all of His upadesams, photos etc under one place….
I request you all to send me (firstname.lastname@example.org) articles, rare photos, videos about HH Pudhuperiyava for me to post. I am also working with few other sources where I could get some very old videos etc.
With His blessings, His gurunathar’s blessings and with your support, I am super-confident that this blog will start to become content-rich and one central repository for Him.
My heartfelt thanks to Sri Vasant Raj who kindly took me to Periyava to get His anugraham to start this blog and also continue to share lots of great rare photos/videos of Him.
Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!
