கலியின் பேரபாயம் : மயக்கு வேஷம்

இந்த யுகத்திலே முக்யமாக என்ன பெரிய அபாயம் என்றால், அபாயமான வஸ்து அப்படி கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாமல் அதுவே ரொம்ப நல்லது மாதிரி வேஷம் போட்டுக் கொண்டு வந்து மயக்கி விடுவதுதான். அபாயத்தை அபாயமானது என்று தெரிந்து கொள்ள முடிந்தால்தானே அதிலிருந்து நம்மை ஜாக்ரதை செய்து கொள்ளலாம்? தீரர்களாக இருந்தால் அதோடு சண்டையும் போட்டு அதை அடக்கி வைக்கலாம்? பூர்வ யுகங்களில் அபாய ஹேதுவாக அஸுரர்கள் தோன்றியபோது, அவர்களுடைய க்ரூரமான ரூபம், வெளிப்படையாகவே அவர்கள் க்ரூரமாகச் செய்த கார்யங்களெல்லாம் ஜனங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்தபோது அவர்கள் ஒதுங்கிப் போகப் பார்த்தார்கள். அப்படியும் இவர்கள் மேலே வந்து விழுந்து பிடுங்கினபோது ‘நம்மால் இவர்களோடு சண்டை போட்டு முடியாது’ என்று பகவானிடம் ப்ரார்த்தித்துக் கொண்டார்கள். பகவானும் அவதாரங்கள் எடுத்து அவர்களை ஸம்ஹரித்தார். முள்ளு குத்தினால் அதைப் பிடுங்கிப் போட்டவுடன் எல்லாம் ஸரியாய் விடுவது போல, அப்புறம் ஜனஸமூஹம் (தேவ ஸமூஹத்தையும் சேர்த்துத்தான் சொல்கிறேன்) நல்லபடியாகி, பழையபடி நல்ல வழியிலேயே போய்க் கொண்டிருந்தது. க்ருஷ்ணாவதாரத்திலும் கம்ஸன், சிசுபாலன், ஜராஸந்தன், துர்யோதனன் முதலானவர்களை தர்மத்திற்கு அபாயம் உண்டாக்கும் துஷ்டர்கள் என்று இனம் பிரித்துக் கண்டு கொள்ள முடிந்தது. இப்படிப் பூர்வயுகங்களில் ஒவ்வொரு துஷ்டக் கூட்டம் ஹிம்ஸை செய்வது, அதை பகவான் அவதாரம் பண்ணி ஸம்ஹாரம் செய்தவுடன் லோகம் நன்றாக ஆகிவிடுவது என்று இருந்தது. நல்ல வழியை உபதேசிக்கும் மஹான்கள் அப்போது நிறைய இருந்தார்கள். துஷ்டர்கள் அழிந்ததும் அவர்கள் நிர்பயமாகத் தங்கள் பணியை ஆரம்பித்து விடுவார்கள். நேராக பகவதவதாரமே ஜனங்களிடம் உபதேசம் பண்ணியோ, வாழ்ந்து காட்டியோ ப்ரவ்ருத்தி – நிவ்ருத்தி மார்க்கங்களை நிலைநாட்ட வேண்டுமென்ற அவசியம் இருக்கவில்லை. ஆனாலும் அவதாரம் ஏற்பட்டு துஷ்ட நிக்ரஹம் செய்யாமலிருந்தால் துஷ்டர்கள் இரண்டு மார்க்கங்களையும் ஒழித்துக்கட்டித்தான் இருப்பார்கள். இந்த ரீதியில் அவதாரங்கள் வேத தர்மத்தை ரக்ஷித்துக் கொடுத்தன.

அப்போதெல்லாம் கெட்டதே நல்லது மாதிரி வேஷம் போட்டுக்கொண்டு வந்து ஸர்வ ஜனங்களையும் மயக்கித் தன்னுடைய ஆதிக்கத்தில் கொண்டுவரவில்லை. கெட்டதுகள் வசீகரணமுள்ளதாகவும், ப்ரியமான மாதிரி நடிப்பதாகவும் இல்லாமல், கெட்டதாகவே ஸ்பஷ்டமாகத் தெரிந்து கொண்டு ஜனங்களை ஹிம்ஸித்தே தங்கள் ஆதிக்கத்தில் கொண்டுவரப் பார்த்தன. அதனால் இது கெட்டது என்று ஜனங்கள் நன்றாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு அதற்கு அடிபணியக்கூடாது என்று இருக்க முடிந்தது.

கலியிலே தனியாக இப்படி அஸுரக் கூட்டம், ராக்ஷஸ ஜாதி என்று இல்லை. மநுஷ்ய ஜாதிக்கு வெளியிலே அப்படியில்லை. அப்படியென்றால்…….. புரிகிறதோல்லியோ? மநுஷ்யர்களின் மூளைகளுக்குள்ளேயேதான் அஸுரர்களும் ராக்ஷஸர்களும் புகுந்துகொண்டு விட்டார்கள்! இந்த யுகத்தில் அதர்ம சக்தி வெளியிலே பௌதிகமாக இருந்துகொண்டு ஜனங்களைத் தாக்காமல் ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளேயே, அவர்களுடைய புத்திக்குள்ளேயே கெட்ட சித்த வ்ருத்திகளாகப் புகுந்துகொண்டு விட்டது!

Kali’s Greatest Danger: Enticement

The greatest danger in this yuga is that which does not appear as such but which disguises as though it is good and gets us carried away.  Is it not that only if we could identify danger as such, we can take precautions from it? If we are brave, we can also perhaps fight and quell it.  In the previous yugas, when the asuras appeared, who were cause of danger, people identified their grotesque looks, cruel deeds and tried to keep away.  When the asuras directly pounced on them and attacked, they realized that they would not be able to fight them and therefore prayed to the God for help.  The Supreme Lord also took his incarnations and vanquished the demons. Just as when a pricking thorn is removed, everything becomes alright, the society, (I am including that of Devas), returned to normalcy and continued in the right direction.  In the Krishna avatara also, one could segregate and identify Kamsa, Sisupala, Jarasandha, Duryodhana, etc., as the villains who were causing danger to dharma.  In this way, in previous yugas, there used to be a bunch of villains who used to torment and after the Lord took his incarnations and quelled them, everything would return to normalcy.   Those days, there were many great people (saints-Mahan), teaching the right path.  Once the villains were annihilated, they would continue to do their job, without any fear.  There was no need for the Supreme lord to directly take an avatar either for giving his teachings or demonstrate by living, to establish the Pravruthi and Nivruthi modes.  However, if He had not taken his incarnations and quelled the dangerous villains, the latter would have completely destroyed the two paths.  In this manner, incarnations helped in protecting the Veda dharma.

Those days, evil did not masquerade as good, cheat the public and control them.  Evil ones, instead of posing attractive or loving, showed clearly their devilish ways and tried to control the public tormenting them. People, were therefore, able to identify the bad ones and not submit to them.

In kali Yuga, there is no such thing as a separate group of asuras, rakshasa caste. There is nothing outside the human beings, means, it is understood no? Asuras and Rakshasas have got into the minds of humans.  In this yuga, instead of being outside physically, the evil force has got into the minds as evil thoughts.
