வாயினால் உன்னைப் பரவிடும் அடியேன் படுதுயர் களைவாய் பாசுபதா பரஞ்சுடரே!

“திருஉருவத்தில் திருப்பதி மலையான்”

தான் சாட்சாத் பரமேஸ்வரரே என்ற தெய்வ ரகசியத்தை மறைத்து மாபெரும் கருணையோடு நம்மிடையே சுகபிரம்மரிஷி மேன்மையோடு எளிமையான திருஉருவத்தில் அவதரித்த ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா அருளிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

இந்த தெய்வ ரகசியம் தானாகவே பல சமயங்களில் வெளிப்பட்ட அதே சமயம் இதை அனுபவித்த பக்தர்களின் அனுபவங்களும் இதற்கு சான்று கூறுவதாக அமைந்துள்ளன.

பல வருடங்களுக்கு முன் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா காசி யாத்திரை மேற்கொண்டிருந்த போது செங்கல்பட்டுக்கு பக்கத்தில் ஒருமாதம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா வாசம் செய்ய நேரிட்டது. ஒரு மாத காலமாக பெரியவாளுக்கு கடும் ஜுரம். எழுந்திருக்கக் கூட இயலாத நிலை. சன்யாசியாதலால் அவரை யாரும் தொட்டு பணிவிடை செய்யமுடியாத சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் அந்த தெய்வமே அதற்கொரு வழியை தேடிக் கொண்டது போல ஒன்று அமைந்தது.

அந்த காலகட்டத்தில் மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலத்தில் அரசாங்க வேலைப் பார்த்துவந்த அதிகாரி ஒருவர் தன் மனப்போக்கின்படி சந்நியாசி ஆகிவிட்டார். அந்த சாமியார் அப்போது வடக்கிலிருந்து ராமேஸ்வரத்திற்கு யாத்திரையாக வருகிறார். வழியில் அவரது தண்டம் தொலைந்து விடுகிறது. சாஸ்திரப்படி தண்டம் தொலைந்துவிட்டால், அதை மறுபடியும் வேறு ஒரு சந்நியாசிடமிருந்துதான் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டுமென்பது விதி.

அதற்காக ராமேஸ்வர யாத்திரை செல்லும் இவர் காசியாத்திரை மேற்கொண்டிருந்த கருணாமூர்த்தியான பெரியவாளிடமே அந்த தண்டத்தை பெற வருகிறார்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளும் விதிப்படி ஒரு தண்டத்தை அந்த சாமியாருக்கு அளித்தார். அதை பெற்றுக் கொண்ட மகாராஷ்டிர சந்நியாசிக்கு சாட்சாத் பரமேஸ்வரரையே ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளாய் தோன்றியதோ என்னவோ, இந்த மாபெரும் மகானையே தன் குருவாக பாவிக்கும் எண்ணம் உதிக்கலாயிற்று. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடமே சரணாகதியானவராய் அங்கேயே தங்கியும் விட்டார்.

சரணாகதியென்று வந்து தங்கிவிட்டவர், அப்பொழுது ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளைவிட வயதில் பெரியவர். மேலும் சந்நியாசியாதலால் பெரியவாளைத் தொட்டு பணிவிடை செய்யவும் வாய்பிருந்ததால் ஒரு மாத காலமும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுக்கு கைங்கர்யம் செய்யும் பாக்கியமும் பெற்றவரானார்.

தினமும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா திருப்பாதங்களில் மலரிட்டு அர்ச்சித்து வழிபடுவார். பிறகு அவரும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளுடனேயே தானும் இந்த காசி யாத்திரையிலேயே கலந்துக் கொண்டார்.

யாத்திரை திருப்பதியை வந்தடைந்த சமயம்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளோ விடுவிடுவென்று நடைப்பழகிய தெய்வம்! கூட வரும் எல்லோருமே எப்போதும் ஈடுகொடுக்க இயலாத வேக நடை அது. மட மடவென்று நடந்த தெய்வம், பின்னால் வந்து கொண்டிருந்த மகாராஷ்டிர சுவாமிகளுக்கு முன்பாகவே திருப்பதி கோயிலுக்குள் பிரவேசித்துவிட்டு, பெருமாள் தரிசனமும் முடித்துக் கொண்டு வெளியேயும் வந்தாயிற்று.

பின்னால் மெதுவாக வந்துக் கொண்டிருந்த வயதான சந்நியாசி அப்போது தான் படி ஏறிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

“அடடா! இவரை விட்டுவிட்டு தரிசனம் பண்ணிவிட்டோமே” என்று ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா வருந்தினார். ஆலய நிர்வாகிகளை கூப்பிட்டனுப்பினார். இவர் என்னோட வந்திருப்பவர் உள்ளே அழைத்துக் கொண்டுபோய் தரிசனம் பண்ணி வைச்சு அழைச்சுட்டு வாங்கோ என்றார்.

அவர்களும் அன்புடன் அந்த சந்நியாசியை அழைத்தனர். ஆனால் அப்போது அந்த சந்நியாசி உதிர்த்த வார்த்தைகளில் அவர்கள் அப்படியே ஸ்தம்பித்து நின்றனர்.

“எனக்கு இதோ தரிசனம் ஆகிவிட்டது…..புறப்படலாம்” என்றார்.

“என்ன தரிசனம் ஆச்சா? எப்போ? எப்படி?” என்று ஆச்சரியப் பட்டு கேட்டனர்.

“ஆமாம்….தரிசனம் ஆயாச்சு… பாலாஜியை உள்ளேபோய் தான் தரிசிக்கணுமா என்ன… இதோ ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கோயிலை விட்டு வெளியே வரும் போது சாட்சாத் பாலாஜியாய் எனக்கு காட்சி தந்தாச்சி… இதோ கண்ணெதிரே பாலாஜியை தரிசனம் பண்ணி ஆச்சு” என்று எல்லோருக்கும் மெய்சிலிர்க்கும் வகையில் தன் அற்புத அனுபவத்தை சொல்லிவிட்டு, கோயில் வாசலிலேயே கண்கண்ட திருவேங்கடபெருமானை நமஸ்காரம் செய்தபோது அதை கண்ட அனைவருக்கும் மாபெரும் உண்மை புலப்படலாயிற்று.

திருப்பதி கோயில்வரை வந்துவிட்டு, தரிசனம் செய்யாமல் ஒரு பழுத்த தவசி தவிர்த்திருப்பது சற்று வித்தியாசமானது என்பது ஒருபுறமிருந்தாலும், அப்படிப்பட்ட புனிதமானவர்களுக்கே ஆணித்தரமாக புலப்படும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் எளிமையான அவதார ரகசியம் எத்தனை மேன்மையானதென்பதும் வியக்கவைக்கிறது.

அழிவேயில்லாத அருள்!

ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா பரப்பிரம்ம சொரூபமாக எங்கும் வியாபித்து இன்றும் பக்தர்களுக்கு அருளும் அதிசயத்தை ஜகதீசபட் எனும் அன்பரின் அனுபவமாகிறது.

சதாராவில் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் நடராஜ பெருமான் உத்திரசிதம்பரம் எனும் திருக்கோயில் எழும்ப அருளாசி பொழிந்துள்ளார். இந்த கோயில் பூரணத்துவம் பெற்ற சமயம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இந்த ஜகதீசபட் என்பவரைதான் அங்கே சென்று கோயில் பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ளுமாறு பணித்தார்.

இந்த அன்பரும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் கட்டளைப்படி அப்பணியை சிரமேற்கொள்ள சதாரா சென்றடைந்து கோயில் வேலைகளை கவனித்து வரலானார். ஆனால் அங்கு அவருக்கு சோதனையாக பல தொல்லைகள் ஏற்படலாயின. இயல்பாக பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாமல் இடையூறுகள் தோன்றலாயின. தன்னால் சமாளிக்க இயலாத நிலையில் திரும்பவும் காஞ்சிபுரத்திற்கே திரும்பிவிட்டார்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் இதைப்பற்றி கேட்டபோது தான் அங்கு வேலையை தொடர முடியாத சூழ்நிலையை மகானிடம் முறையிட்டார்.

ஆனால் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளும் கருணா மூர்த்தியோ, தன் பூர்ண ஆசிகளை அவருக்கு வழங்கி தெம்பூட்டி திரும்பவும் சதாரா செல்லும்படி இவரை கேட்டுக் கொண்டார்.

இவரை சமாதானம் செய்யும் சம்பாஷணையின்போது “நீ ஏகாம்பரேஸ்வரர் கோயில்லே தலைகீழா வௌவாலெல்லாம் தொங்குமே பார்த்திருக்காயோ” என்று கேட்டுவிட்டு அந்த ஜீவராசிக்கு வாயும், ஆசனவாயும் ஒண்ணு என்றுவிட்டு மலத்துக்கும் சாப்பாட்டிற்கும் ஒரே வழியென்பதை சொல்லி போன ஜென்மத்திலே பொருளுக்கு ஆசைப்பட்டு கோயில் பணத்தை கை வைத்ததின் பலன்தான் இந்த வகையான பிறவிக்கு காரணம் என்றும் ஏனோ விளக்கினார். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சொன்ன வாக்கின்படி கோயில் சொத்தில் எத்தனை ஜாக்கிரதையாக கையாள வேண்டுமென்ற எச்சரிப்பை இவர் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடிந்தது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளே தெம்பூட்டி அனுப்பியதில் இவருக்கு ஒரு புத்துணர்வு ஏற்பட அன்றையிலிருந்து பல வருடங்கள் கோயில் பணிகளை சிரத்தையோடு தொடர்ந்து வந்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

ஆனால் ஏனோ கோயில் நிர்வாகம், சன்னதி பராமரிப்பு பூஜைகள் என எல்லா பொறுப்புகளும் நாளாக ஆக ஜகதீசபட்டே கவனிக்கும்படி ஆனது. வேலை பாரம் தாங்க முடியவில்லை. மிகவும் சிரமப்படலாயிற்று.

அப்படி வேதனைப்பட்டவர் மனதில் அதன் விளைவாக இப்படி ஒரு இக்கட்டில் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தன்னை மாட்டிவிட்டுவிட்டாரே என்று எண்ணங்கள் விபரீதமாக தோன்ற சலிப்பு மேலீட்டால் மனதில் மகானை சற்று சினமாகவே நொந்துக் கொண்டார்.

மன உளைச்சலோடு அன்று இரவில் தூக்கமின்றி தவிக்கலானார். விடியும்போது ஒரு சொப்பனம் போன்ற பிரமை. சாட்சாத் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தோன்றினார். தன் இரு திருக்கரங்களினாலும் பரிபூரணமாக ஆசி வழங்குவது தெளிவாக தெரிந்தது. “ஒண்ணும் கவலை படாதே…. எல்லாம் நான் பாத்துக்கறேன்” என்று அபயம் தந்து கருணாசாகரர் அருளியதில் ஜகதீசபட் உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்டவராய் கண்ணீர்மல்க விழித்துக் கொண்டார்.

இதை ஒரு சொப்பனமாக அவருக்கு நினைக்க தோன்றவில்லை. சாட்சாத் பெரியாவாளே நேரில் வந்து தன்னை ஆறுதலாக ஆட்கொண்டருளியதுபோல் உணர்ந்தார்.

அன்று விழித்தெழுந்ததும் நாள் முழுவதும் ஒரு புத்துணர்வு தன்னை தொற்றிக் கொண்டதை அனுபவித்தார். அதுவரை சஞ்சலப்பட்டு, சலிப்போடு செய்த கோயில் வேலைகள் யாவும் ஆனந்தமாகவும், உற்சாகமாகவும் செய்ய ஆரம்பித்திருந்தார். இந்த பெரும் மாற்றம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் அருள் ஒன்றினாலே என்பது அவர் திண்ணமாக உணர முடிந்தது.

இப்படி ஒரு நாள் சென்றது. மறுநாள் காலை மற்றொரு அதிசயம் கதவை தட்டியது. ஒரு சிறு வயதுக்காரன்…இவரிடம் திரும்பி வந்து நின்றான். ஏற்கனவே கோயில் வேளைகளில் இவருக்கு ஒத்தாசையாக இருந்தவன், ஏதோ எண்ணத்தில் அங்கிருந்து சென்றுவிட்டு, எந்த இடமும் தனக்கு சரிபடவில்லை என்று தெரிந்துவிட்டதில் இனிமேல் விலகுவதில்லை என்ற உறுதியுடன் வந்திருந்தான். தன் சலிப்பிற்கு இந்த பையன் விலகியதும் ஒரு காரணமாயிருந்ததால், இவன் திரும்பி தன ஒத்தாசைக்கு வந்ததை அதே கருணாமூர்த்தியின் மாபெரும் கருணையே என்பது ஜகதீசபட்டுக்கு மனப்பூர்வமாக புலப்படலாயிற்று.

ஸ்தூல உடலில் இருக்கும்போது மட்டுமின்றி, எக்காலத்திலும் பிரம்மஞானிகள் அனுக்கிரஹம் காப்பாற்றுமென்பது, ஜகதீசபட் என்ற அன்பரின் அந்த அனுபவம் உறுதி கூறுகிறதல்லவா!

காளியா? காமாட்சியா?

ஒரு அம்மாள் பத்து வயது பெண் குழந்தையுடன் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளை தரிசிக்க ஸ்ரீ மடம் அருகிலுள்ள பஸ் ஸ்டாப்பில் இறங்கினார்.

“கூட்டமில்லாமல் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தரிசனம் கிடைக்கணுமே” என்ற படபடப்போடு மடத்துக்குள் நுழையும் போதுதான் கூட வந்த தன் பெண் குழந்தையை காணாதது தெரிந்தது. எங்கோ வழிதவறி போயிருக்க வேண்டும்.

அங்குமிங்கும் தேடி ஓடினாள். எங்கும் காணவில்லை. மன கலவரம் மேலிட ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் முறையிட ஓடிவந்தாள்.

சாட்சாத் பரமேஸ்வரர் திருச்செவியில் கேட்டுவிட்டு, தன் கண்ணை மூடி சற்றுநேரம் தியானம் செய்தபடி மௌனம் காத்தார்.

பிறகு “காளிகாம்பாள் கோயிலுக்கு போ…ஒரு சீட்டில் பெண் குழந்தையை காணோம். கண்டுபிடிச்சு சேர்ப்பிக்கணும் தாயேன்னு எழுதி ஒரு ரூபாய் காணிக்கையோடு கோயில் உண்டியலில் போட்டு விட்டு வா” என்றார் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா.

பதற்றத்துடன் காளி கோயிலுக்கு போய் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சொன்னதை செய்துவிட்டு காளி காளி என்ற ஜபத்துடன் அந்த அம்மாள் வர கோயில் வாசலிலேயே அழுதபடி குழந்தை நின்றது. தேம்பி அழுத பெண்ணை அணைத்து, ஆச்சர்யமும் ஆனந்தமாக வந்த அம்மாள் திரும்பவும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளிடம் வந்து நமஸ்கரித்தாள்.

“சீட்டு எழுதி போட்டியோ?” ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ஒன்றும் தெரியாதவர் போல் நாடகமாடினார்.

“போட்டேன் ஆனால் அங்கே காளிகாம்பாள் மூலஸ்தானத்தில் என் கண்ணுக்கு பெரியவா தான் தென்பட்டா…அது போல இங்கே வந்தா அந்த காளிதான் என் கண்ணுக்கு படறா” என்று அந்த அம்மாள் அந்த திருநாடகத்தை புரிந்தவராய் சொன்னபோது ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் திருமுகத்தில் அதை அங்கீகரிப்பது போல் ஒரு தெய்வீக புன்னகை வெளிப்பட்டது.

இப்படி எல்லாமுமாகி எங்கும் வியாபித்தருளும் குணாநிதியிடம் நாம் கொள்ளும் பூர்ணபக்தி நமக்கெல்லாம் சர்வ மங்களங்களையும், ஐஸ்வர்யங்களையும் அருளுவது நிச்சயம்!

Tirupathi Balaji in Sri Periyava’s form (roopam)!

Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, who has the greatness of Sukha Brahma Rishi, has been blessing all of us by not revealing the divine secret that He is an incarnation of Sakshat Parameshwara.

But, this divine secret got revealed many times and also the experiences of various devotees of Sri Maha Periyava stands as proof for the same.

Many years back, when Sri Periyava was doing Kasi Yatra, it happened so that Sri Periyava had to stay near Chengalpet for a month. Sri Periyava was having severe fever at that time and was very weak. Sri Periyava, being a sannyasi, nobody was even able to touch and do service to Him. During that time, as if Sri Periyava Himself found a way to address this issue, something happened.

During that time, an officer working in Maharashtra government office, took Sanyasa as per his wish. He also came from North to Rameshwaram as yathra. On His way, He lost the dandam (stick). As per sastra, it is a rule that if a sanyasi loses His dandam, He has to get it only from another sanyasi. So, on His way to Rameshwaram, He came to Sri Periyava to get another one.

Sri Periyava also gave Him another dandam as per the rules. After receiving His dandam, He must have thought that He received dandam from Sri Parameshwara Himself. So, He decided Sri Periyava as His guru, totally surrendered to Sri Periyava and also stayed with Sri Periyava.

At that time, He was elder than Sri Periyava. Since He is also a sanyasi, He was able to touch Sri Periyava and was also fortunate to do service to Him for that entire month. Every day, He used to offer flowers to Sri Periyava’s lotus feet. And also joined Sri Periyava in Kasi Yatra.

Now, the camp reached Tirupati.

Sri Periyava had the practice of walking very fast! Nobody can match Sri Periyava’s speed. Sri Periyava walked swiftly and entered Tirupati temple leaving Maharashtra Swamigal behind. Sri Periyava also had darshan of Perumal and came out.

Maharashtra Swamigal was just climbing the stairs at that time. Sri Periyava felt bad that Maharashtra Swamigal was left behind during the darshan. So, He immediately called the temple authorities and instructed that they arrange proper darshan for Maharashtra Swamigal.

They also invited the Swamigal with respect and affection. But, they were stunned to listen the words from Maharashtra Swamigal.

“I had darshan here itself…we can leave” told Swamigal.

“What? You already had darshan? When? How?” they enquired with curiosity.

“Yes! Had darshan! Should we go inside the temple and have Balaji darshan? When Sri Periyava came out of the temple, He gave me darshan like Sri Balaji. I had darshan of Balaji” told Swamigal. All had goosebumps when they had heard this. Saying so, Swamigal prostrated before the temple. Everyone realized the divine truth at that point. Even though it is quite surprising that a sanyasi did not have darshan even after coming all the way till Tirupati Temple, only through these blessed people that the divine secret of Sri Periyava’s avatharam is revealed.

Endless Blessing!

This experience of Sri Jagadeesha Bhat signifies that Sri Sri Sri Mahaperiyava is omnipresent and blessing all His devotees even today.

Sri Sri Sri Periyava had showered His blessings towards a Nataraja temple in Satara, named as Uttara Chidambaram. Sri Periyava also ordered Sri Jagadeesha Bhat to take care of the temple activities when the temple was about to be built completely.

Sri Jagadeesha Bhat also went to Satara and took care of the temple activities with utmost sincerity as per Sri Periyava’s orders. But, he faced lot of difficulties there. When he could not manage, he returned to Kanchipuram. When Sri Periyava enquired, he mentioned all the difficulties to Sri Periyava.

But, Sri Periyava, a karunamoorthy, after hearing all his problems, gave His paripoorna blessings and asked him to go back to Satara.

While talking to him, Sri Periyava asked, “Have you seen bats hanging upside down in Sri Ekambareswarar Temple?” And also told that mouth and excretory organ for bats are one and the same; they have to use the same for eating as well as excretion; and also explained that if one desires to steal temple funds, they would become bats in their next janma. After Sri Periyava explained this, he became extremely careful in handling temple funds and took this as a warning message from Sri Periyava.

As Sri Periyava Himself pepped him, he felt that he got energy to take care of the temple and started doing his activities with sincerity for many years. But, for some reason, all the temple activities including management and taking care of the shrine fell on Sri Jagadeesha Bhat. So, he was unable to manage everything at one point. During that time, he felt that Sri Periyava made him suffer like this and was extremely stressed out.

That night he was unable to sleep properly. During dawn, he had a dream where Sri Periyava appeared in front of him. Also, he felt that Sri Periyava raised both of His hands and blessed him completely. He felt that Sri Periyava told “Do not worry, I will take care of everything.” Immediately, he woke up with teary eyes.

He did not consider this as a dream. He felt that Sri Periyava Himself came and blessed him in person. That day, he felt new energy in his body and continued his activities with enjoyment rather than stress. He knew that this was only because of Sri Periyava’s blessings.

Next day, another surprise happened. A young guy came to temple and stood before him. He used to assist Sri Jagadeesha Bhat before but left the temple for some reason. Now, after checking various places, came back after realizing that no other place would suit him. He came back with a strong conviction that he will never leave this temple. Again, Sri Jagadeesha Bhat realized that this is also because of Sri Periyava’s grace.

This experience of Sri Jagadeesha Bhat clearly shows that Brahmagnanis’ blessings would protect even when they are not with us physically!!

Kali or Kamakshi?

A female along with her 10 year old daughter came for Sri Periyava’s darahan and got down at the bus stop near Sri Matam.

She entered Sri Matam with a hurried thought that she should get Sri Periyava’s darshan without any crowd. She immediately realized that her girl was missing and must have gone somewhere without knowing the way.

She ran here and there but was unable to find her daughter. She came running towards Sri Periyava and told about this.

Sri Periyava listened to this and closed His eyes for few minutes and maintained silence. Then, “Go to Kalikambal temple…write in a piece of paper that your daughter is missing; you should get her back. Then, put that chit in temple hundi along with one rupee” told Sri Periyava.

She immediately rushed to Kali temple and did as per Sri Periyava’s instructions. When she came out of the temple chanting Kali’s name, she saw her daughter standing in front of the temple with teary eyes. She immediately hugged her daughter and came to Sri Periyava and prostrated along with her girl.

“Did you write it in a chit and put it?” enquired Sri Periyava as if He knew nothing. “Yes, I did. But, in Kalikambal moolasthanam (sanctum), I saw only Periyava. Also, when I came here, I am seeing only Kalikambal” told that lady as if she realized this divine play by Sri Periyava. Sri Periyava smiled as if He agreed to her statement.
