Necessities for a comfortable worldly life like rains are granted only by the Devathas. We should satisfy the needs of the Devathas through our yagnas and get material benefits for our worldly lives in return. People who reap these worldly benefits without worshipping these Devathas through yagnas are condemned by Sri Krishna and he categorically states that these persons do not consume food, but sin.
