பக்தருக்கு பரம சங்கடமாப்போச்சு. என்னடா இது ஆசார்யாகிட்டே இந்த இடத்தைப்பத்தி சொல்லி
அவரோட சம்மதத்தையும் வாங்கிண்டாச்சு. இப்போ தரமுடியாதுங்கறாளே. இவாளுக்கு என்ன ஆச்சு?
இதை ஆசார்யாகிட்டே எப்படிச் சொல்றது? ரொம்பவே குழம்பின அவர் என்ன ஆனாலும் சரி,
ஆசார்யாளை நேர்லயே போய்ப்பாத்து சொல்லிடுவோம்னு புறப்பட்டுட்டார்.
அவர் வந்த சமயத்துல ஆசார்யா,மெட்ராஸ் சான்ஸ்கிரீட் காலேஜ்ல முகாமிட்டிருந்தா. அங்கேயே வந்து தரிசனம் பண்ணிட்டு விஷயத்தைச் சொன்னார் கொல்கத்தா பக்தர்.
ஒரு நிமிஷம் கண்ணை மூடிண்டு ஏதோ யோசனைல ஆழ்ந்த பரமாசார்யா,அந்த பக்தரைப் பார்த்து,
“சரி, எல்லாம் நல்லபடியா முடியும். நீ உடனே புறப்பட்டு கொல்கத்தா போ.நாளைக்கு கார்த்தால அவாகிட்டேபோய் திரும்பவும் இடம் கேளு” அப்படின்னு சொல்லி ஆசிர்வாதம் பண்ணி குங்கும பிரசாதம் குடுத்து அனுப்பினார்.
நாளைக்கு கார்த்தாலேயே கொல்கத்தாவுல இருக்கணும்னா, உடனடியாக ப்ளைட்ல போனாதான் உண்டு. என்ன செய்யறதுன்னு யோசித்தார் பக்தர். ஏன்னா இன்னிக்கு மாதிரி அன்னிக்கு விமானத்துலயெல்லாம் அவ்வளவு சீக்கிரம் இடம் கிடைக்காது.அதோட கட்டணம் பெரிய பெரிய பணக்காரர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே சாத்தியமா இருந்தது.
பக்தர் யோசிச்சுண்டே இருக்கறச்சேயே பெரியவாளைப் பார்க்க ஒருத்தர் வந்தார். “பெரியவா,காளிபூஜை பார்க்கறதுக்காக கொல்கத்தாவுக்கு போகலாம்னு இருக்கேன்.பெரியவா உத்தரவு தரணும்”னு கேட்டார்.
“அதுக்கென்ன பேஷா போயிட்டுவா” சொன்ன ஆசார்யா, “ஆமாம், நீ கொல்கத்தாவுக்கு எதுல போறே”
அப்படின்னு கேட்டார்.
“பெரியவா, ப்ளைட்லதான் போலாம்னு இருக்கேன்.என்னோட ப்ரெண்டும் வரேன்னார்னு ரெண்டு டிக்கெட் புக் பண்ணினேன், இப்போ அவர் வரமுடியாதுன்னுட்டார். வேற யாராவது வராளான்னு கேட்டு கூட்டிண்டு புறப்படணும் அவ்வளவுதான்!” சொன்னார் அவர்.
“ஒனக்கு ஆட்சேபனை இல்லைன்னா இவரைக் கூட்டிண்டு போயேன்!” பரமாசார்யா சொல்ல, அப்புறம் என்ன, உடனடியா புறப்பட்டா இரண்டுபேரும்.
ஆசார்யா சொன்னமாதிரியே மறுநாள் விடியக்கார்த்தால கொல்கத்தாவுல அந்த இடத்துக்கு சொந்தக்காரனைப்பா ர்க்கப்போனார் பக்தர்.
அவர் வரவுக்காகவே காத்துண்டு இருந்தமாதிரி, “வாங்கோ,வாங்கோ.நீங்க வரணுமேன்னு நினைச்சுண்டே
இருந்தோம். நேத்து ராத்திரி எங்க கனவுல எங்க குலதெய்வமான காளிதேவி வந்தா. வேதபாடசாலைக்கு
இடத்தைக் குடுத்துடுன்னு உத்தரவு போட்டா. அவ சொன்னதுக்கு அப்புறம் எங்களால மீறவே முடியாது.
இடத்தை நீங்களே வாங்கி வேதபாடசாலை கட்டிக்குங்கோ!” அப்படின்னு பரிபூரண சம்மதத்தோட அன்னிக்கே இடத்தைப் பேர்மாத்தி பதிவு பண்ணிக் குடுத்துட்டா.
திரும்பவும் ஆசார்யாளைப் பார்க்க வந்தார் பக்தர். அவர் எதுவும் சொல்றதுக்கு முன்னால,
“என்ன கனவுல வந்து இடத்தைக் குடுக்கச் சொல்லிட்டாளாமா? ரொம்ப சந்தோஷம்.வேதபாடசாலையைக் கட்டி குழந்தைகளுக்கு எல்லாத்தையும் நன்னா சொல்லிக் கொடுக்க ஏற்பாடு செஞ்சுடு!” ஆசீர்வாதம் பண்ணி பிரசாதமா கொஞ்சம் பழத்தை குடுத்து அனுப்பினார், பரமாசார்யா.
முதல்தடவை கொல்கத்தா பக்தர் வந்த அன்னிக்கு ராத்திரியே இடத்தோட சொந்தக்காரா கனவுல காளிதேவி வரப்போறா, இடத்தை தரச்சொல்லப்போறாங்கறதெல்லாம் ஆசார்யாளுக்கு முன்கூட்டியே எப்படித் தெரிஞ்சுது? கொல்கத்தாவுக்கு ப்ளைட் டிக்கெட்டோட ஒருத்தர் எப்படி சரியா அந்த நேரத்துக்கு வந்தார்?
இந்தக் கேள்விக்கெல்லாம் விடை பரமாசார்யாளுக்கு மட்டுமே தெரிஞ்ச ரகசியம்!

I have a request to devotees. While we have our own opinions in the heat of the discussion let us not forget to give respect to all the Great Mahans with proper prefixes or suffixes. Calling them just by their name is total lack of disrespect especially in a public forum.
As Sri Periyava says, Bhakthi along with the right Bhavam is required to elevate one spiritually. If one thinks he/she is beyond all these at-least do it for the sake of other devotees who may not have reached those levels. Ram Ram
Sri Sheshadri Swamigal is for Yoga margam
Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsar is for bhakthi margam
Sri Ramana Maharishi is for gnana margam
Sri Periyava is for karma margam
The miracles are felt by the devotees and Sri Periyava never said any such thing as done by him. Many devotees past and present are strong testimony to this. Sri Periyava always advocates that one has to go through their karma but the effect of it can be withstand by doing sat karyam/pooja and surrendering to Guru. Sri Periyava never done anything beyond one’s karma. But seeing Sri Periyava or any Gnani, one gets blessed to withstand such karma.
“…..Considering Sri Periyava as Parameswaran and asking for dates, location, people involved, clear addresses for test of scrutiny…..” is ironic

It appears that following other religions, some misinformed hindus (Brahmins) want to record or attribute miracles to various saints, just to “prove” & “establish” their credentials among the public. (as if this is necessary.)
For a person whom we consider as “Parameswaran” himself, reading other people’s minds or arranging a few tickets on train or flight, or controlling the weather is a minuscule, trivial task of no importance. Making a big deal of this is ridiculous as well as insulting.
As Ramana states, for a gnani nothing else exists other than brahmam… Adi Sankara says the same in Atma Ashtakam (Sivoham, Sivoham)
My request was… if you want to record something…. give the provenances correctly…Give dates, location people involved with clear addresses etc, so that it may stand the test of scrutiny.
In recent stories, the Bilwa boy of Guntur, Installation of Vinayaka at Tiruvanaikoil are total fakes…. This Kolkata Patasala story is probably 90-95% embellished.
Some saints claim to do & perform miracles (Both Saibabas, and many others)
Some saints clearly say they don’t do any thing….. Ramana stated that anything perceived out of the ordinary,takes place not because of the Gnani’s sankalpa (the gnani has no mind to perform the sankalpa, as the mind is already dead) but by his saannithyam.
If you want to reduce Periyava to an ordinary miracle worker, it is your choice. But it shall be capable of withstanding rigorous assessment.
Please note that I have no intention to insult the miracle performing saints. As Shirdi Saibaba himself stated….”I do these things …. so that, those who come to me will realize that I can offer them much more than this also…”

ஸ்ரீஸார் அவர்களுக்கு நமஸ்காரம் பண்ணிவிட்டு “தாமதமாகிவிட்டது ஸார் ” என்று மன்னிப்பைக் கோரினார் நண்பர்..

” தாமதமானால் பரவாயில்லை .. கதை கேட்கப் போயிருந்தேளே .. அவன் ஸ்வாமியைப் பத்தி கதை சொன்னானா .. அல்லது கதை விட்டானா .. அதை முதலில் எனக்கு சொல்லு ! ”
என்று புன்முறுவலுடன் கேட்டார்கள்..
பிறகு ஸ்ரீஸார் ஆரூரனைப் பார்த்து அவர்கள் எழுதிய ஏணிப்படிகளில் மாந்தர்கள் புஸ்தகத்தில் ஒரு பக்கத்தில் இருந்த –
“தூயவர் மேன்மையை மிகைப்படுத்தும் சீடர்கள் பாமரன்”
” போலியையும் அஸலையும் ஒன்றாகப் போற்றுபவர்கள் பாமரன்”
என்னும் வரிகளைச் சுட்டிக் காட்டி வாசிக்கச் சொன்னார்கள்..

..ஸ்ரீயவாளையே பற்றுக் கோடாகக் கொண்டு வாழ்ந்து வரும் பல எளிய பக்த ஜனங்களை பெரிதும் வருந்தச் செய்துள்ளது..
இன்று காலை “மஹா பெரியவரை அதிர வைத்த தெலுங்கு சிறுவன்.” என்று நம்மை அதிரவைக்கும் திடுக்கிடும் தலைப்பிட்டு ஒரு மேட்டரைப் பதிவிட்டிருக்கிறார் ஒரு நண்பர்..
சமயங்களில் இவற்றையெல்லாம் படிக்க வேணுமா .. என்றும் தோணுகிறது..
ஏற்கனவே ஸ்ரீசங்கர பகவத்பாதாள் காலம் மற்றும் அவர்கள் ஸ்தாபித்த மடங்கள் விஷயத்தில் ஸ்ரீயவாள் பலகாலும் அழுத்தந்திருத்தமாகச் சொல்லிவிட்டிருக்கும் உண்மைகளுக்கு மாறாக மனம்போன போக்கில் உளறிவைக்கும் இவர்களால் ஸ்ரீமடத்திற்கும்.. சிஷ்யாளுக்கும்,.. உண்மைக்கும் .. பிற்காலங்களில் ஈடு செய்ய முடியாத இழப்பே ஏற்படும்..

Also,
Followers of Ramana know how much he preached and practiced Karma aspects of our philosophy. His whole life is an example of nishkamya karma.
Folowers of Periyava also know that he has expressed that “mano nasam” (which is nothing but the stage of becoming a gnani) is the ultimate in Advaita. He has stated that even after our nitya karmas, poojas etc spend five minutes at least in atma vichara, so that the destination is not forgotten.
I am comfortable with calling Rama as Rama, and Krishna as Krishna. i don’t have the need to show and prove my piety or humility to anyone else, by using big titles for my Gurus.
I didn’t ask that miracles should be recorded…. I only asked that where they are recorded give the proof also. otherwise, we will have further instances of widow remarriage and other abhacharams to periyava (though they are accepted by the society by and large these days) coming through as miracles in blog posts, again.

What is wrong in this posting? who is going to benefit by this? It is an incident about Sri Periyava wants a Patasala in Calcutta and the place was identified by a devotee and confirmed that to Sri Periyava. Again when approached the seller for giving money, he denied to give the land, so devotee went to Sri Periyava in Madras told this and Sri Periyava asked him to go again to get that place and one who refused earlier gave that for Vedapadasala purpose. Here Mr. Sundara rajan has confirmed this.
Sri Ra. Ganapathy Anna becoming a devotee of Sri Periyava is itself a great miracle, Sri Anna described that he did not like Sri Periyava in his first darshan and reluctant to do namaskaram to Sri Periyava and thought this old man has nothing. Later he described how just a one darshan that has transformed him within few days, which gave us a master piece of all “Theivathin Kural” which cannot be imagined how one could compile such a volumes with description of Sri Periyava actual wordings and several other Upanyasams taken in various places. Its unbelievable. Isn’t a miracle?
Did Sri Periyava wants miracle to attract devotee? Just one “Parvai” or “Asirvatham” is enough to immerse in bakthi to Sri Periyava.
Sri Balu Mama also in his interviews told about miracles (if the word miracles irks, it call be called as “Meetings with Sri Periyava”
Sri Pradosham Mama says “Sri Periyava is Sarvakyan” and he know about 27 Janmas of anyone who stand before him. We heard only about Seven Janmas but Sri Pradosham mama said that.
The presiding Jeeyar of Sri Ahobilam Madam is told by Sri Periyava who came in his dream and told not to proceed with his foreign trip and said he will one day become a Peedathipathi of great madam
List goes on. Still so many untold experiences of devotees with Sri Periyava is yet to be heard

Exactly!…. It is the missing authentication that raises queries…. we heard Jeeyar Swamigal in his own voice…. Why these stories are not / were not brought out when He was amidst us in physical form… or even now… why only certain persons bring out such special miracles…,. read what Sivan Saar has said, as recorded by Aarooran in his blog…. Even this story, you try to trace the roots…. Mr. Mukherjee or Narasimhan…. let us see where it goes…. Establish the flight tickets story also ….
I have been saying the same for several months now at the risk of sounding irreverent.
All such fabricated stories are nothing but the fanciful imagination of new-born speakers, writers and other people who keep generating new and new stories everyday to further their personal interests.
As rightly said we should only post and propagate Deivathin Kural or the few authentic accounts already
There is no need for any miracle to believe in periyava.

The article has some facts but laded with sensationalism. That makes the story unbelievable. It is true that the building that is being talked about was rented out to South Indian bhajan sabha. Paramarcharya wanted to buy the building for starting a Sama Veda Padasala. Initially owner agreed to sell but later changed his opinion. But all of a sudden he met Sree Narasimhan and offered to sell as per the orders of Kali. This was recorded by Sree S.V Narasimhan himself who executed the job. I am unable to understand why the original source details are not mentioned while posting such incidents. பெரியவாளோட மகிமையை உணர்வதற்கு ‘தெய்வத்தின் குரல்’ ஏழு பகுதிகளையும் படித்தால் போதுமே ! அந்த தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி ஸ்வரூபத்தை, இந்த மாதிரி ‘அற்புத லீலை’களோடு இணைக்க வேண்டுமா? அவர் சொன்னதைப் படித்து, அவர் காட்டிய வழியில் நம்மால் முடிந்த வரை வாழ்ந்து காட்டி, அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கும் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்தாலே, அதுவே, நாம் பெரியவாளுக்கு செய்யும் பக்தி. Let us not sensationalize HIM ! Sad to say, Real cooked up story. Difficult to understand the interest of people in creating such stories with no sense of space, time events etc. We are doing great Apacharam to Periyava by making up such false stories.- Rama Rama
