          வாயினால் உன்னைப் பரவிடும் அடியேன் படுதுயர் களைவாய் பாசுபதா பரஞ்சுடரே!

“மகான் ஏற்காத அதர்ம பணம்”

ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மகாபெரியவாளெனும் ஈஸ்வர அவதாரம் நம்மிடையே சுகபிரம்மரிஷி அவர்களின் மேன்மையோடு நம்மிடையே அருள் பாலித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பது நம் பாக்யமேயாகும்.

தர்ம நெறி என்பதை கடைப்பிடிப்பதில் மாபெரும் எடுத்துக்காட்டாக ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் மடாதிபதி திகழ்ந்துள்ளது பல அரிய சம்பவங்களில் தெரியவருகிறது.

ஸ்ரீ மகான் கலவையில் திருக்கோயில் கொண்டிருந்த காலகட்டம். ஒருநாள் காலை வேளை தஞ்சை மாவட்டத்தை சேர்ந்த வழக்கறிஞர் பெரியவா தரிசனத்திற்கு காரில் ஏக தடபுடலாக வந்து இறங்கினார். மனைவி மடிசார் உடுத்தி, பையன் வேட்டி துண்டோடு, இவர் பஞ்ச கச்சம் அங்க வஸ்திரம் நவரத்தின மாலை இத்யாதிகளோடு அவர் வருகை சற்றே அமர்களமாகவும், அகங்காரமாகவும் அமைந்திருந்தது.

பெரிய தட்டில் பழங்கள், புஷ்பம், கல்கண்டு, மஞ்சள் முதலான மங்கள திரவியங்கள், திராட்சை, முந்திரிபருப்பு, தேன்பாட்டில் என பரவி இருக்க அதன்மேலே ஒரு காகித உறையில் ரூபாய் நோட்டுகள் வைக்கப்பட்டு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் சர்வேஸ்வரருக்கு சமர்பணம் செய்து, வந்தனத்தையும் செய்து கொண்டார்.

கருணா மூர்த்தியாம் பெரியவா தன் தீர்க்கமான அருள் பார்வையோடு தர்மம் வழுவாத திருக்கண்களால் அந்த தட்டை நோட்டமிட்டார்.

“அது என்ன கவர்?” ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா மெதுவாக கேட்டார்.

“ஏதோ கொஞ்சம் பணம்” இது வழக்கறிஞர்.

“கொஞ்சம்னா பத்துரூபாயா, பதினொரு ரூபாயா?”

ஸ்ரீ தர்மமூர்த்தி கேட்டதில் வழக்கறிஞருக்கு சற்றே கர்வம் தோன்றியிருக்க வேண்டும். மாவட்டத்திலேயே அவர் பிரபல கிரிமினல் லாயராக தான் இருப்பது தெரியாமல் இப்படி பத்து ரூபாய் அளவில் தன்னை எடைபோட்டுவிட்டாரே பெரியவா என்று நினைத்திருக்கலாம்.

பொய்யான பவ்ய பாவத்துடன் அவர் “பதினைந்தாயிரம் ரூபாய்” என்று சொன்னாலும் அதில் தன் பெருமையை காட்டிக் கொள்ளும் தொனி புலப்பட்டது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சற்று மௌனம் சாதித்தார். பின்பு அவரிடம் “நீ எதிலே வந்திருக்கே” என்றார்.

அவர் தான் காரில் வந்திருப்பதாக கூறினார்.

“அந்த கவரை எடுத்துண்டு போய் காரில் பத்திரமாக வைச்சுட்டு வா…நீ கொண்டுவந்த பழம், புஷ்பம் போதும்”

அட்வகேட் ஸ்ரீ மகான் சொன்னதில் வெலவெலத்துப் போய் விட்டார். ஒரே திருவாக்கில் தன் கர்வமெல்லாம் அடங்கியது போல் அவருக்கு தோன்றலாயிற்று.

அந்த பதினைந்தாயிர கவரை கொண்டுபோய் காரில் வைத்துவிட்டு திரும்பிய வழக்கறிஞருக்கு ஏதோ குற்ற உணர்வு முகத்தில் தெரியலாயிற்று. அவரிடம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் கருணை தெய்வம் எதையும் காட்டிக்கொள்ளாமல் சாந்தமாக பேசி பிரசாதங்களை கொடுத்து ஆசீர்வதித்தும் அனுப்பி வைத்தார்.

கார் புறப்பட்டு செல்லும் சப்தம் கேட்டது.

ஸ்ரீ மடத்திற்கு அந்த காலகட்டங்களில் அடிக்கடி பணம் மற்றும் பொருள் தட்டுப்பாடுகள் வருவதுண்டு. மேனேஜர் பணம் இல்லையே என கவலை படுவதுண்டு. இப்படி ஒரு நிலையில் அந்த காலத்தில் பதினைந்தாயிரம் என்பது ஒரு மாபெரும் தொகை. அப்படியிருக்க நடமாடும் தெய்வமாக சாட்சாத் ஈஸ்வரர் அதை நிராகரித்ததற்கான காரணம் அங்கு யாருக்கும் புலப்படவில்லை.

இப்படி ஒரு பொருமல் அங்கிருந்த மடத்து சிப்பந்திகளுக்கு இல்லாமலில்லை.

இதை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா உணர்ந்துவிட்டவராய் “இந்த பதினைந்தாயிரம் பணத்தை நான் ஏத்துக்கலையேன்னு நினைக்கறீங்களா? இது ஒரு பொய் வழக்கில் இவர் வாதாடி ஜெயித்ததுக்காக கிடைத்த பணம். அந்த பீஸில் ஒரு பகுதி தான் இந்த பதினைந்தாயிரம்” அதனால் தான் வேண்டாம்னு சொன்னேன் என்றார்.

அருகிலிருந்த தொண்டர்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளெனும் தர்மநெறி ஜோதியை எந்த அதர்மவழி பொருள்களும் அண்ட வாய்ப்பில்லை என்ற மாபெரும் உண்மை புலப்பட்டது.

வாழ்வில் எத்தனை சிரமங்கள் வந்தாலும் தர்மவழியை தளர்த்திக் கொள்ளலாகாது என்று அருள் வாக்கினால் உலகோருக்கு உபதேசிக்கும் மகான் அதற்கு தக்கவாறு தானும் எடுத்துக்காட்டாய் இருப்பதில் என்றும் தவறியதில்லை.

உமாபதியின் சூட்சம உத்தரவு

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கார்வேட் நகரில் முகாமிட்டிருந்த சமயம், சென்னையிலிருந்து காரில் சபேசன் குடும்பம் வந்திருந்தது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் தரிசனத்திற்கு பின் சாயங்காலம் தங்கள் ஊருக்கு திரும்புவதற்கு தயாராயினர். பெரியவாளிடம் உத்தரவாகிவிட்டால் கிளம்பலாமென்று காத்திருந்தனர்.

தட்சிணாமூர்த்தி ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ஒரு வில்வமரத்தடியில் அமர்ந்திருக்க சபேசன் குடும்பத்தினர் வந்தனம் செய்து பிரசாதத்துக்கு நின்றனர். அவர்களுக்கு பிரசாதம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. சபேசன் காரை நோக்கி நடந்தார். அப்போது அவரை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா சொடுக்கு போட்டு கூப்பிட, சபேசன் ஆவலுடன் திருப்பி வந்து நின்றார்.

சற்று தூரத்தில் கருங்கல் ஜல்லி கொட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது. ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் இதைக் காட்டி “இதில் கொஞ்சம் சாக்கில் கட்டி வீட்டுக்கு கொண்டு போ” என்றார்.

எல்லோருக்கும் இப்படி பெரியவா உத்தரவிட்டது பெரும் வியப்பாயிருந்தது. கருங்கல் ஜல்லியை கார்வேட் நகரிலிருந்து சென்னைக்கு எடுத்துப் போவானேன்? அதில் அப்படி என்ன ரகசியம் உள்ளது என்றெல்லாம் சுற்றி இருந்தோரை சந்தேகப்பட வைத்தது இந்த உத்தரவு.

மகானிடம் விளக்கம் கேட்க முடியாதல்லவா எனவே உத்தரவு படி சாக்கில் கொஞ்சம் ஜல்லியை மூட்டையாக கட்டி கார் டிக்கியில் வைத்துக் கொண்டு சபேசன் புறப்பட்டார்.

வழியில் மலப்பாதைகள் நிறைந்த புத்தூர் வந்தது. இரவு நாலைந்து நபர்கள் நடுச்சாலையில் நின்று காரை மறித்தார்கள். அவர்கள் கொள்ளையர்கள் என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை.

கொள்ளையர்கள் எல்லோரையும் காரிலிருந்து இறங்கச் சொல்லி உள்ளே என்ன இருக்கிறதென்று அலசி பார்த்தனர். அங்கே ஒரு பேட்டியோ, பையையோ காணோம். ஆத்திரத்துடன் டிக்கியை நெம்பித் திறந்தனர்.

அங்கே மூட்டை!

“டேய் இங்கே இருக்குடா” என்று சந்தோஷத்துடன் ஒருவன் கூவினான். மூட்டையை எடுக்க முயன்றான். மிக கஷ்டப்பட்டு நகர்த்தி கீழே தள்ளி விட்டனர். பிறகு “போ போ” என்று சபேசனை விரட்டினர்.

சபேசன் வெகுவேகமாக காரை செலுத்திக் கொண்டு சென்று ஒரு கிராமம் வந்ததும் காரை நிறுத்தி மூச்சு விட்டார்.

“பயந்தே போயிட்டேன். நகையெல்லாம் கழட்டுன்னு சொல்லு வாங்களோன்னு நடுங்கிப் போயிட்டேன்” என்றால் அவர் மனைவி.

“எல்லோரையும் கட்டிப் போடாமல் விட்டானே” என்று பையன் பெருமூச்சு விடடான். “காரை நொறுக்காமல் போனானே” என்றாள் மகள்.

ஆனால் சபேசன் மட்டும் கார்வேட் நகரை நோக்கி மனப் பூர்வமான நன்றி உணர்த்தலோடு அந்த நடமாடும் தெய்வம் குடி கொண்ட திக்கை நோக்கி கும்பிட்டார்.

வருவதை அறிந்து காப்பாற்றிய தெய்வத்தை நினைத்து அவர் மனம் கசிந்தது. கனமான சாக்கு மூட்டையில் நிறைய பணம் இருக்கிறதென்று நகை நட்டுகளை கள்வர்கள் விட்டுவிட்ட அதிசயத்தை மகானின் தீர்க்க தரிசனம் முன்பே அறிந்திருந்து அருளிய விந்தையை சபேசன் உணர்ந்தார்.

இரண்டு நாட்கள் சென்றதும் அவர் மட்டும் மீண்டும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் தரிசனத்திற்கு சென்று நடந்ததை பெரியவாளிடம் சொன்னார்.

“சுவாமி தான் உன்னை காப்பாத்தியிருக்கார்” என்றாராம். ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா தான் அந்த சுவாமி என்று சபேசனுக்கு தெரியாமலில்லை.

காக்கும் காவலர்

ஒரு மும்பை பக்தை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாள் தரிசனத்திற்கு வந்திருந்தார். அந்த பக்தையை கூப்பிட்டு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கேட்க ஆரம்பித்தார்.

“உன்னோட ஆத்துக்காரர் ஆபீஸுக்கும் வீட்டுக்கும் எத்தனை தூரம்” ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா.

“சுமார் இரண்டு கிலோ மீட்டர் இருக்கலாம்”

“உன் வீட்டில் போன் இருக்கா”

“இல்லை. ஆனா பக்கத்து ஆத்திலே இருக்கு. அவா ஏதாவது அவசரமா போன் வந்தா சொல்லுவா”

“அப்போ நீ உடனே பாம்பே கிளம்பி போயிடு”

“இங்கே பெரியவாளை தரிசனம் பண்ணி, மூணு, நாலு நாள் தங்கலாம்னு வந்தேன்”

“இப்போ என்னை தரிசனம் பண்ணிட்டியோன்னோ…நீ ஊருக்கு கிளம்பிடு”

மிகவும் தயக்கத்துடன் அந்த பக்தை திரும்பி சென்றார். பிறகு ஒரு ஆறு மாதம் கழித்து திரும்பவும் தரிசனத்துக்கு வந்தவளிடம் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா ஏனோ அவளுடைய கணவனின் உடல்நிலை குறித்து விசாரித்தார்.

தெய்வ ரகசியம் என்னவென்றால், அந்த பக்தையை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா போகச் சொன்னபோது அங்கே அவளுடைய கணவனுக்கு ஆபிஸில் ஒரு விபத்து ஏற்பட்டு தகவலை பக்கத்து வீட்டு போன் மூலம் தெரிவித்திருந்த அதிசயம் நடந்திருந்தது. இதை பரமகருணாமூர்த்தி அங்கிருந்தபடியே தன் தெய்வீகத்தால் அறிந்தே பக்தையை போகச் சொல்லி அருளியுள்ளார்.

இப்போது வந்த பக்தை இதைச் சொல்லி, இவ்வளவும் தெரிந்த பெரியவா ஏன் விபத்தையே நடக்காமல் தடுத்திருக்க முடியாது என்று கேட்டாள். அதற்கு ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எது நடக்குமென்று விதித்திருக்கிறதோ அது நடக்காமல் தடுக்க முடியாது. ஆனா நீ வணங்கும் காமாட்சி அம்மன் அருளால் அதனால் ஏற்படக்கூடும் பாதிப்புக்கள் குறைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று அருளினார். இப்பேற்பட்ட ஸ்ரீ காமாட்சி பெரியவாளின் பேரருள் நமக்கெல்லாம் பேரானந்த நிலைகொடுத்து, சகல சௌபாக்யங்களையும், சர்வ மங்களங்களையும் தந்தருளும்.

“Money that came through unrighteous way not accepted by Sri Mahan”

It is indeed our fortune that Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, an incarnation of Lord Siva and who is as superior as Sri Sukha Brahmarishi, is amongst us and also showering His blessings to all of us.

It is very evident from many incidents that Sri Sri Maha Periyava has stood as an example in following the dharmic path.

It is during the time period when Sri Maha Periyava was camping in Kalavai. One day, a lawyer from Tanjavur district, came for Sri Periyava’s darshan in a car with lot of hubbub. With his wife wearing traditional saree, his son wearing veshti and a towel and he wearing traditional veshti, angavasthram and navaratna chain, his arrival had lot of bustle and created lot of commotion.

He placed a big plate in front of Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava, with lot of fruits, flowers, sugar candy, turmeric, dry grapes, cashews, bottle of honey and a cover with rupee notes in it and prostrated before Him.

Sri Sri Periyava, who is a Karunamoorthi, with His dhrishti looked into that plate.

“What is that cover” slowly asked Sri Periyava.

“Some money” told the lawyer.

“Some means, 10 rupees or 11 rupees?”

When Sri Sri Periyava asked this question, lawyer must have got arrogant. The lawyer, who is a famous criminal lawyer in the district, must have thought that Sri Periyava must not have known his status and asked if it is 10 rupees in that cover.

Even though the lawyer told with a false bhavya bhaavam, that the cover had “15000 rupees”, his pride was very evident in his tone.

Sri Periyava was silent for few moments. Then asked, “How did you come?”

Lawyer told that he had come in a car.

“Go keep the cover safely in your car. Just flowers and fruits are enough for me”

Lawyer got stunned by the words of Sri Sri Periyava. In one word of Sri Periyava, lawyer felt that all his pride has gone.

When that lawyer came back after keeping the cover in his car, his face showed that he had done something wrong. Sri Sri Periyava did not ask anything else to lawyer. But, spoke with him and gave prasadams too.

Everyone heard the sound of lawyer’s car leaving that place.

During that time when Sri Matham used to face lot of financial shortages and manager used to worry that there was not enough money. Fifteen thousand during that time was a huge amount. Nobody knew the reason for Sri Sri Periyava to not accept that money, even though the situation demanded it.

Sri Sri Periyava realizing that everyone had this question in their mind started talking, “Are you all thinking why I did not accept this fifteen thousand rupees? Lawyer got money for arguing in a false case and winning in it. This fifteen thousand is part of that fees”. Sri Periyava told that is why He did not accept the money.

Everyone around Sri Sri Sri Maha Periyava realized a truth that anything that was acquired in unrighteous way cannot come near Him, who is a dharma swaroopa.

Mahan, along with instructing everyone to follow only dharmic path even during any problem in their life, He never failed to stand as an example for the same.

Umapathy’s subtle orders

Sri Periyava was camping in Karvet Nagar. Sabesan’s family had come from Chennai. After darshan, in the evening, they were getting ready to return back to their place. They were waiting to get permission from Sri Periyava.

While Dakshninamoorthy Sri Periyava was sitting under a vilva tree, Sabesan’s family came, prostrated and were waiting for prasadam. Sri Periyava gave them prasadam. Sabesan started walking towards his car. Then, Sri Periyava called and Sabesan came back with excitement.

There were small black stones lying slightly far away. Sri Periyava by showing them to Sabesan told, “Take some of them in a bag along with you to your house”.

Everyone were surprised to hear this order from Sri Periyava. Why should he take these black stones from Karvet Nagar to Chennai? It made everyone present there to think what would be the secret associated with that order.

As Sabesan did not want to question Sri Periyava, he followed the orders, kept the bag in car trunk and started to his place.

On their way, they crossed Puthur, which had lot of mountains. During night time, four to five people intercepted their car and it was clearly evident that they were robbers.

Robbers instructed everyone in the car to get down and started searching everything in their car. They could not find anything in the car and got frustrated. Then they opened the trunk.

They found that bag!

“Hey, here it is!” shouted one robber with lot of excitement. He tried to move that bag. With lot of effort, he removed that bag from car. Then, they asked the car to go from that place.

Sabesan drove the car very fast from that place and reached a village nearby. They stopped the car and started realizing what just happened.

“I was so afraid. I was thinking that they would ask me to remove all my jewels” told Sabesan’s wife, son and his daughter.

But, Sabesan’s thoughts were going towards Karvet Nagar, as if to convey his thanks to Sri Periyava. He was wondering how Sri Periyava with His foresight saved them from those robbers.

After two days, Sabesan went back for Sri Periyava’s darshan and told everything that happened.

“Swami only saved you” told Sri Periyava. It was very evident to Sabesan that Sri Periyava is that Swami.

Our Savior

One devotee from Mumbai had come for Sri Periyava’s darshan. Sri Periyava called her and started asking questions.

“How much is the distance between your husband’s office and your house?” asked Sri Periyava.

“Approximately 2 kilometers”

“Do you have phone in your house?”

“No. But, our neighbors have it. They would let us know if we get any emergency phone calls”

“Then, you start immediately to Bombay”

“I came for Sri Periyava’s darshan and also had plans for staying 2-3 days”

“You had darshan now, right? You start to your place”

She started with lot of hesitation. Later when she back after 6 months for darshan, Sri Periyava started enquiring about her husband’s health.

The secret was when Sri Periyava asked her to go back to Bombay on that day, her husband met with an accident in his office and she received an update through her neighbor’s phone. Paramakarunamoorthy Sri Periyava, having known this beforehand, instructed His devotee to leave.

Now she asked Sri Periyava that if Sri Sri Periyava already knew about this accident, why Sri Periyava didn’t stop it from occurring. Sri Periyava answered that whatever has to happen as per destiny, cannot be stopped. But, by praying Sri Kamakshi, the effect of it can be reduced. It is very true that Sri Kamakshi Periyava’s blessings and grace will grant us all prosperity and wealth.
