சதாரா அருகிலுள்ள ஸஜ்ஜன் கட் என்ற மலையில், சமர்த்த ராமதாஸ் சுவாமிகள் கோவில் இருக்கிறது.
செங்குத்தான மலையில் சிரமப்பட்டு ஏறிச் சென்றார்கள், பெரியவாள்.
அந்த மலையில்,’அய்யாபுவா’ ‘அன்னாபுவா’ என்ற இனங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மலைவாசிகள் வாழ்ந்து
வருகிறார்கள்.
மலை ஏறி வந்திருக்கும் மகானுக்கு காணிக்கை செலுத்த வேண்டுமே? காசு – பணம் ஏது?.
செழுமையான வாழைத்தோட்டங்கள் நிறைந்த மலை. அவர்கள் உணவும் வாழையை மூலப்பொருளாகக்
கொண்டது தான்.
காய்ந்து போன வாழைக்காய்களின் தோலை நீக்கிவிட்டு, உட்பகுதியை மாவாகச் செய்வார்கள்.
அந்த வாழைக்காய் மாவை, பெரியவாளுக்கு சமர்ப்பித்தார்கள் – சங்கோஜத்துடன்.

அய்யாபுவாவும்,அன்னாபுவாவும் நம்மைக் காட்டிலும் மிக உயர்ந்த நிலையில் இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆம் அவர்கள்
மலைச் சிகரங்களில் அல்லவா வாழ்கிறார்கள்.

There is a temple for Swami Samartha Ramadas at a hill by name Sajjangad near Satara. Periyava climbed the steep hill with difficulty.
Tribal people belonging to the clans ‘Ayyabuva’ and ‘Annabuva’ used to live on that hill.
These people did not have any cash or coins to offer to Periyava. The hills were full of healthy banana groves. Their diet used to be predominantly banana based.
They used to discard the skins from dry raw bananas and grind the pulp to a paste. Hesitatingly, they offered this ground paste to Periyava.
“What paste is this ?”
“It is the paste made from raw bananas”
“How is this eaten ?”
“This can be made into Idlis and dosas”
A smile from Periyava.
“Oh, is it possible to make idlis from banana paste ?”
“Yes, ‘Saami'”
Periyava felt very happy looking at the beaming faces of those innocent people.
From that day onwards, raw banana paste became an important part of Periyava’s diet
Periyava, who had given up all kinds of pulses, found banana paste very useful.
‘Ayyabuvas’ and ‘Annabuvas’ have attained a position much higher than us. Yes, after all, aren’t they people who live on hills ?
