It has been two days since Periyava arrived. As I told you He has no jet-lag etc! Always smiling. Yesterday, we put more rudraksha mala, salagrama mala that I got from Kathmandu. Re-arranged few things in the puja room. I put one maha vilvam leaf that I preserved from India on top of Periyava. I was thinking of contacting someone here to get fresh vilvam at a later point….
Already there was one devotee, who is part of our nama sangeerthanam group, visited us to get darshan/blessings of Periyava as they are moving to Columbus, OH. They bought a house there – they brought the contract to keep at the feet of Periyava. He was also asking for some periyava satsangam in Columbus area.
Woke up this morning and read this email from Sri Shankar Subramanian. Here is the verbatim of the email.
“Dear Mr. Mahesh,
We had connected earlier on a posting about a young girl named Samyukta Chandar. Not to mention, I am a silent follower of your blog posts and have cherished many of your write-ups.
Today, as I was reading your blog post about Periyava statue arriving at your home, there was a divine smell of suddha vibhuthi around me. In a state of trance, I closed my eyes for a few minutes. Periyava appeared and mentioned the following
“Andha vigrahathule naan okkandhu irukkiradhu Maha Siva yoga nishtaille. Adhukku poruthama avanai oru Vilva maalaiaya en thalaille kreedama poda sollu”
I thought that I should pass this on to you without any delay considering your shraddhai and bakthi. Kindly review and do the needful.

I was blown away after reading this – I read this email on the bed. After brushing etc, ran to puja room, did a namaskaram to Periyava and sharing this great news with all of you! Most interesting this to note is that mystic/divine experience Shankar had – what a great devotee!!! You’re truly lucky Shankar!
While this is all exciting and looking forward to more of such experiences, I am starting to get little nervous too – can I live up to His expectations by having Him at home?! I need to make few lifestyle changes going forward and increase the achara anushtanams.

i am a very sorrowful fellow because even I lived in the life period of Maha Periyava , around 30 years before he attains mukthi i cannot even get dharshan of him lively and now I have only joy that I have read all your blog and Periya had given an opportunity to me that I have met and read all the experiences with periyava.
