“பிரம்மஹத்தி தோஷம் ஏற்பட்டிருக்குமோ?’

(Supreme Authority-யின் (பெரியவா) சூப்பர் பரிகாரம்)

சொன்னவர்;ஸ்ரீமடம் பாலு

தொகுப்பாசிரியர்;கோதண்டராம சர்மா.

தட்டச்சு;வரகூரான் நாராயணன்

செல்வந்தரான ஒரு பக்தர், தன்னுடைய காரியமாக, தன்னுடைய காரில் ஒரு நண்பரை வெளியூர்

அனுப்பி வைத்தார்.

துரதிருஷ்டவசமாக, அவர் ‘வெளியூருக்கே’ போய் விட்டார்.போகிற வழியில், விபத்து.கார்,படுசேதம்

நண்பர் சிவலோகம் போய்விட்டார்.

பக்தருக்கு ஏற்பட்ட துக்கத்துக்கு எல்லையே இல்லை.

‘தன்னால், ஒரு குடும்பம்,தலைவனை இழந்து தவிக்கும்படி ஆகிவிட்டதே?’ என்ற கழிவிரக்கம் குறையவேயில்லை. ஏராளமாக பண உதவி செய்தார்.

ஆனால்,இந்த இழப்புக்கு முன், பணம் எம்மாத்திரம்?.

தனக்கு பிரம்மஹத்தி தோஷம் ஏற்பட்டிருக்குமோ? என்ற சந்தேகம் வந்துவிட்டது, அன்பருக்கு.

இந்த மாதிரி மன சஞ்சலத்தையெல்லாம் யாரிடமும் அந்தரங்கமாகக் கூறி, சாஸ்திரப் பிரமாணமான (authority) ஆலோசனைகளைப் பெற முடியாது.

எனவே, Supreme Authority-யிடம் வந்தார்,அன்பர்.

பெரியவா,அன்பர் சொல்லியவற்றையெல்லாம் பொறுமையுடன் கேட்டார்கள்.பின், கார் விபத்துங்கிறது தெய்வாதீனமாய் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கு.உன் எண்ணத்திலே கல்மிஷம் இல்லே.எப்படியோ, உன் மனசிலே ஒரு நறநறப்பு வந்துட்டது; லோகாபவாதமும் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கு.

முதல்லே, சேது ஸ்நானம் செய். சூரியோதயத்துக்கு முன்னாடி எழுந்து, தெருவிலே போகிற ஒரு பசுமாட்டுக்குப் புல்லு கொடு.

நித்தியம் சிவ தரிசனம்; ஒரு வேளை சாப்பாடு. சிவன் கோவில்லே பிரதக்ஷிணம் பண்ணின்டே இரு – முடிஞ்சவரை.

இதெல்லாம் பண்ணு,பழிபாவம் போகும் என்றார்கள்.

அன்பர் சமாதானமடைந்து பிரசாதம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு, தயங்கினாற்போல் நின்றார்.

“மற்றதெல்லாம் செஞ்சுடலாம். பசுவுக்குப் புல் கொடுக்கிறது சாத்யாமாப் படல்லே,

டவுன்லே இருக்கேன் தெருவிலே பசுமாடெல்லாம் காலை வேளையிலே வராது….”

பட்டென்று பதில் வந்தது.

“அதனாலென்ன? கோசாலை இருக்குமே?…

உங்கிட்ட கார் இருக்கு.அஞ்சுமணிக்கே எழுந்துண்டு கார்லே போய், எல்லா பசுமாட்டுக்கும் புல்லு கொடுத்துட்டு வா…”

அன்பருக்கு பூரண திருப்தி. வயிற்றில் பாலை வார்த்தாற் போலிருந்தது.

Once, a rich devotee had sent his friend on his personal errand by car. Unfortunately, the car met with an accident and his friend lost his life.

The rich man was troubled with guilt. He gave a lot of financial assistance to his friend’s family. Yet, the fact that he had in some way caused irreparable damage to his friend and his family constantly bothered him.

He worried that if he had earned the “brahmahaththi dosham”.

Issues like this cannot be addressed by anyone other than Periyava himself who is the “Supreme authority”.

Periyava patiently heard the devotee pour out his grievance. He reassured the man that the car accident was unfortunately destined to happen and that he himself had nothing to do with it.

Periyava continued “Yet, you are troubled with guilt”.

First, go to Sethu and have a holy bath there.

Daily, get up at the crack of dawn and feed grass to at least one cow.

Visit a Shiva temple daily; try to eat only once in day.

Continue to do pradakshinam in Shiva temple daily as long as you can.

If you keep doing all these, slowly the guilt will detach itself from you.”

The devotee, consoled that there was a parikaram (solution), obtained prasadam from Periyava.

Still, he stood there a little hesitant.

He said “All the other things I can do. However, I live in a town. It is not easy to find a cow in the morning to feed grass. What shall I do…?”

Instantly Periyava directed him ‘So what if you can’t find a cow in the streets in the morning?

There must be some goshala near your place. You have a  car with you. Get up at 5 in the morning, go to the go shala and feed all the cows there…”

The devotee was fully satisfied that Periyava had given him solace from his troubling situation.
