KGF & Amazon support to charities

AmazonSmileBanner

All,

As you all know, I started a non-profit organization – Kanchi Guruparampara Foundation (KGF) – to carry out Periyava kainkaryams in a structured fashion. This organization is registered under 501 c(3) act of Internal Revenue Services, USA. All donations made to this organization are tax-deductible in US.

Amazon.com offers a great way of supporting charitable organizations. Instead of going to amazon.com directly, if you enter the store via charitable organization, Amazon donates 0.5% of the eligible purchases. There are some qualifications for “eligible purchases” – I sincerely don’t know what they are.

Here is the simple request to all of you:

If you are going to buy anything from Amazon, come to the blog,  click the above picture and it will take you to amazon store – do your shopping. That’s all. In order to make it easier for you all, I have provided this same link on the right side of the main page of the blog.

Second option is to bookmark this URLin your browser for all your amazon shopping: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/47-2746457

This costs nothing to you. You’re making Amazon donate to us – that’s all.

Our sincere thanks to Amazon.com for their support to charities like us. Please spread the word with your friends and families.

Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!

  1. I feel that raising money for Guru Kainkaryam, is not advisable through the help of corporates who stoke consumerism and who have no alignment with Dharma and related values. This is not to denounce them, they have their place in this society. But our sources have to be as noble as our cause.

  2. innovative idea, Jaya Jaya Sankara.

  3. Sure …That’s a good news.i will spread this to my friends and relatives too

  4. Very nice to see this. Will forward to my friends too in my office.
