I remember reading somewhere about Mahaperiyavaa expressing a desire that someone should attempt painting Kamakshi and Kameswara. Mahaperiyavaa I think had said that it would be interesting to see how someone would paint two deities with the same attributes (both have the flower arrows, sugarcane bow, goad and noose, three eyes, crescent moon…). Noticed that the cover page of the book above has exactly this painting very beautifully done by the artist.

Thank you for your article.I have one doubt.When we visit abroad especially Australia,New Zealand etc which are ahead of India timewise,what time to follow for the Thri-kala Sandhyavandanam?Now,for example,Australia is ahead by 5hrs 30 mins ahead of India time.Is there any communication from Periyava about this?Can you please help?

Please use http://www.mypanchang.com and do your sandhyavandhanams. This is what all of us do here in US. Mypanchang.com adjusts thithis etc as per local sunrise/sunset – very accurate.
