  1. Hara Hara Shankara, Jaya Jaya Shankara! Mahaanukku Namaskaaram!

  2. Can the moderator please consider referring to Him as HH Swaminatha Indra Saraswathi Swamigal, the sanyasa name given to Him by His Guru? (and perhaps add His Poorvashrama name in brackets)

We may not be able to stop this new fashion of people taking the poorvashrama name and adding Swamigal as they like (I’m sure out of love, no doubt). A few years down the road, people will take even more liberties on how to address Sanyasis, if this became in vogue. The written word cannot convey the good intentions
of the moderator, with the passage of time, as to why he chose to address him in this manner out of love.

The reason I note this is the moderator himself admonished people on this forum who were referring to the Sri Matham Acharyas by their own made up appellations, some time ago.

Just think, will we accept our Sri Matham Acharyals being referred as Poorvashrama Name + Swamigal added? If the answer is no, why should we do it for this Mahaan?

(We refer to Maha Periyavaa as Ummachi Thathha out of love, but when we write His name we don’t use His Poorvashrama name + Swamigal added it to it. Let us consider doing the same here)

  3. I love Balu Mama Swamigal. For me, having his darshan was having the darshan of Lord Maha Periyava himself.

Bhagavan Maha Periyava Thiruvadegaley Saranam Saranam
