Thiruvidaimarudhur Ther project has been going on for the past few years and finally it concluded and all 5 of them were run yesterday. HH Kanchi Acharyas, Swami Dayanada Saraswathi Swamigal other adhinams were involved in bringing this project to completion.
From the photo, I am able to recognize only Swami Paramarthanandha, sishya of Swami Dayananda Saraswathi Swamigal.
Running these temple cars is the fundamental of our society, culture and sampradayam. All the people in the city/village were united in such events. Sri Mouli always says that when we spend so much for our car, shouldn’t we think about the car for sarveswaran and ambal? I hope all local people come forward to revive all the parked cars in so many great kshetrams.

Thanks for sharing these photos.My Father’s birth place is Thiruvidaimurudhur.We use to visit once in a year.But last 2 yrs we didn’t able to do so.But your beautiful photos took us there freely and enjoyed it.

Some rephrasing required, Mahesh. You mention swami dayananda saraswati swamigal ahead of HH kanchi Acharyas and the adheenams, which is not how the correct convention must be as per protocol. HH kanchi Acharyas must come ahead of all followed by the adheenams and then swami dayananda saraswati swamigal. Although swamigal’s contribution is greatest, he took up this kainkaryam upon the encouragement and advice of mahaperiyava, which he mentioned in his interview video. Also the adheenams have always been traditional caretakers of the temple, so in this manner also, the naming convention is as indicated above.

Hara Hara Sankara. Yes. The photo is Pujyasri Omkaranada Swamiji of Pudukottai Bhuvaneswari Peetam and Adi Guru Dakshinamoorthy Peetam at Theni. His upanyasams are in Tamil. He quotes extensively from Thirukkural, Thevaram, Thayumanavar, Vallar and many more. His Kaivalya Navaneetham (in Tamil by Dhandavarayan Swamigal) upanyasam is something one should not missing listening to and of course Bhagawat Gita lectures.
