dear MAhesh, I was fortunate to join the Nahaperiyaval Jayanthi celebrations at Ilayathangudi and it was blissful experience. Ilaythangudi tiny village but beautifulblessed with adhistanam of 65th poontiff of Kanchi Mutt..No doubt Mahaswamigalwas deeply loving Ilathangudi During his life time, Mahaswagial stayed moreyears in rural areas than urbanised cities and the reason could be understood only byvisiting pl;acers like Ilayathangudi, Kalavai ..The tablet inscribing the details ofAdhistanam of 65th pontiff and nice foto of Mahaswamigal with his shadow fallingin front of Him in pushkaraNI WATER is not to be missed.
