Gho Matha Samrakshanam – An Inspirational Video

Periyavaa

Jaya Jaya Shankara Hara Hara Shankara – A very positive and inspirational video on Gho Matha Samrakshanam. Good visuals are always powerful and motivates one to do more Sath Karma. This 10 min. video (both English & Tamil) covers what Sri Periyava told in Deivathin Kural about Gho Matha Samrakshanam including the significance of Gho Matha Samrakshanam in our Ithihasa Puranas, Handful of Grass a day for Gho Matha, Gho Dhooli Snanam,  how Mother Cow’s products act as medicines, etc. HH Sri Bala Periyava has visited this Gosala and blessed them.

Let this message not be construed as any sort of appeal as it is up-to the readers based on their due diligence but posting it due to the sheer positive impact & importance of Gho Samrakshanam. A gentle reminder on the need to engage ourselves on a day to day basis as told by our Periyava. Periyava Thiruvadigal Charanam. Ram Ram!

  1. How can we do monetary support for this Go Shala ?

Many Thanks for posting this Video.

    Thanks,
    Gopal Seethepalli

  2. Adiyen is a volunteer of this Ghoshala. Check Viraja homam in youtube. Pure Vibhoothi basmam is made using native cows grazzing 32 different herbs from their cowdung cakes in the viraja homam. The vibhoothi is only for upaasakaas who know the value of vibhoothi prasadam and not for commercial selling for temples where the vibhoothi is just dumped in pillars.
The cost of vibhoothi goes again to save another native cow from going to slaughterhouse.
Its a divine place and adiyen feels Mahaswamy presence everytime I visit this place.
Jai Gho matha, Vande Gho Maataram
    Seeking the grace of Mahaswamy,
    P. Vijay

    • I am very proud of you Mr. Vijay! I am happy to share with you we had so many cows in my native place once and now left that place for some reasons Even now my sister in Delhi is doing this wonderful service to not only cows but for all stray animals at the age of 75. Serving food, water, medicines and taking to the hospital if necessary! Shanakara SharaNam.
