Anbe Arule Part 1 by Sri Bharaneetharan – Translated by Sr BN Mama

Sri Sridharan mama a.k.a Bharaneetharan and Periyava connection is world-famous. He showered His blessings on mama. Equally, mama’s devotion to periyava is pretty intense. While mama have had so many incidents, one incident that is close to my heart is this. His writing style is very amazing to read – does not use very complicated way of narrating any incident. Here is Hindu article on mama.

Shri BN Mama has started doing translation of Anbe Arule series to English. Here is the first part. I enjoyed every word of Shri BN Mama’s translation – he did not miss one single expression of the author….As with any creative writer, he ended the first part at a most thrilling place 🙂 I am eagerly waiting to read Part II.

Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!

  1. do you have that pdf of ananda vikatan diwali issue 1981?

  2. I have read Mama’s Anbay Arulaey.Great book.I have spoken to him over phone once.Periyavaa had spoken very high of Sri Seshadri Swamigal and had given a great mantra about Swamigal.Read it in that book, thanks to Mama.

  3. This is a great service to the devotees who are not that conversant in Tamil but wanted to read this wonderful book by Sri Bharaneedaran.
This book was serialized in a magazine during Mahaa Periayavaa’s physical presence itself.
Maha Periyavaa merged into HIS Self in Jan’1994.
The following week Sri Bharaneedaran’s description of this event was sheer poetry bringing tears to every one’s eyes.
Just read the original Tamil version to understand the depth of the feelings.

  4. Waiting anxiously for the next article….

  5. First one has to appreciate the work even if one considers it as a repetition. For Thirukkural many scholars have written ‘bashyam’. Poet Parimelazhagar has written one and so none need to write one more! It is funny. Saint Thulasidoss wrote ‘Ramayana’ though many others have already written. Thulasidoss writes at the beginning that he writes for his own satisfaction (swantha sukhai Thulasi Raghunaatha Gaathaa) and also for the laymen who could not understand Ramayana written in Samskrit. The saint wrote it in Khadiboli, a local dialect in UP/Bihar. This is Thulasi Ramayan. Sri Narayan Bala writes for his satisfaction and for those who are keen to know about the great saint of yester year, Mahan of Kanchi. I wonder why there is much noise on this. It may be that Brahmins always try to put aside the dedicated work of sincere devotees. Varagooran and ram have to congratulate the work of Bala. Have you read this ebook, which was launched on a few days ago. I like the comments of nparamasivam1951, who has read.

  6. Sri Miru,

I do not know; may be it is not there in web. But printed version is available, in Giri Trading, Mylapore , Chennai.

  9. The translation of Anbe Arule is published in English as “Sage of love and Grace” and translated by Shri Vankipuram Krishnamachari. It is published by Homoeopathic Medical Publishers – by Shri Bharanidharan’s nephew Shri Rajan Sankaran. I got a copy of the book two days ago and was pleasantly surprised to find this article today.

I got the book from the following website/address:
    Homoeopathic Medical Publishers
    201, Dinar, 20 Station Road,
    Santacruz (W),
    Mumbai 400 054. INDIA

    Tel : +91-22-2660 5680 / 2660 5776
    Email : sales@onlinehmp.com

    • I am not aware of this publication. I have translated a lot of articles by Sri Ra.Ganapathy including his “Jaya Jaya Sankara” and posted them in the website ‘kanchiperiva.org’, mainly as a service to MahaPeriava devotees, same way as I am sharing my paintings of Periava.

      • I want to know the names of all the books of ra ganapathy translated by you. Please let me know where it is available for sale with address details.

  10. Interesting. The flow is super. Swamigal is not testing him, which we understand from the incident so far. Let us wait for next post.
