Long back we posted about a television serial by Sri Indira Soundararajan on “Kanchiyin Karunai Kadal”. Due to the reason of being away from India, I could not even see one episode till today. A friend/colleague of mine mentioned about this again and sent me a link. By Periyava’s grace, I was able to download three parts. Each part consists of several episodes that came in the TV on a daily basis. For those like me, who have missed these episodes, can watch them here…..

Have written a number of emails to DD Podhigai seeking some information as to when / if the programme is scheduled for telecast. Have’nt received any response so far (22-09-16). When I called up DD Podhigai was told that the programme was stopped. No reasons were given. No idea when / if the programme will be re-started. Readers of this blog should make a concerted effort to re-start the programme
we are also eagerly waiting for the episode. has it been rescheduled or discontinued?
For the last few days Kanchiyn Karunai Kadal is not being telecast. Have sent an email to DD Podhigai in this regard. Have not received any response so far. Can we (all members of this blog) send a request to DD Podhigai to re-start the telecast? DD Podhigai should inform viewers, in advance, about any changes in schedule.

discontinued. i directly contacted both Mr. Indira Soundararajan and DD. they are giving
some lame excuses. a person from dd told it was almost 2 years we are telecasting i asked so what? he replies patronage required. Mr. Indira Soundararajan told me a new
dd director is most responsible for all this and he even asked (all members of this blog) us to pressurize the dd start the telecast once again without having any interruption for many many long years.

We have recently moved to Dubai from Chennai and have brought my mother in law along with us here. She had her fair share of spiritual programs to watch in Chennai. Even though we tried to get the online versions of most programs here, kanchiyin karunai kadal was unavailable on youtube and she was missing it terribly. On 28th August, in the evening, she was telling a few guests at home how much she was missing the program and I was thinking I have to somehow find an online version of the program. When I woke up on 29th, this mail was the first that I read and I could not be more surprised as to how Periyava has blessed us through you!
I thank you for this treasure and wish we get to see more.

I Wish that the DD Podhigai makes CDs for sale. Those who have missed the kanchiyin karunai kadal could watch and treasure for genertations to come. We all should request / impress upon DD Podhigai to do the needful.. Thanks.

Thanks a lot to Pothigai TV and Sri Indra sowndrarajan for bringing His Holiness’s greatness to our home every day. I find 2 errors in the episode – 2. Periyava’s father’s name is Subramania Sastrigal and not Sambamurthi Sastrigal. Likewise mother’s name is Mahalakshmi and not Lalithambal. The jathagam image shows the correct details of the parentage of His Holiness. Lalithambal was the younger sister of His Holiness. The greatest couple on the earth gave birth to 6 children, Ganapathi Sastrigal – Gananapathyam, Periyava Swaminathan – Gowmaram, Lalithamba mami -Sattham, Sambamurthy Sastrigal – Sowram, Sadhasiva Sastrigal – Saivam and Krishnamurthy Sastrigal Vaishnavam. Thanks to Mahesh for bringing this through mail .

I cannot thank you enough for these video’s. My mother & I wait eagerly every morning (07:15 AM) for this programme telecast by Podhgai (DoorDarshan). Our hope / prayer is that it should be telecast everyday (for some strange reason it is telecast from Mon to Thu only). In fact got a satellite TV connection just for this programme. Wish we could get the entire set (some 300 odd episodes have been completed so far on Podhigai). Thanks once again.
