Periyava Sharanam
After Bhagawadpadal, it is Pudhu Periyava who has traversed the length and breadth of the country more than 3 times. There is a hardly a place he has not graced. Thousands of kumbabhisekams, hundreds of schools, hospitals, facilities to perform last rites, initiatives to help village folks keep up their traditions, providing help to light lamps atleast once in a day for old temples, assistance to poor Sivacharyars, assistance to Vedic Patashalas, setting up of temples for Bhagawadpada across the country including installing a murty of Adi Acharya at the base of Mt Kailas – we can just go on and on and on. What Pudhu Periyava has done is extraordinary and mind boggling. As Pudhu Periyava Himself said once – Ïf Maha Periyava is Ichcha Sakti, Pudhu Periyava is Kriya Sakti”.
