சிவசங்கரன் என்பவர் ஸ்ரீமடத்தின் நெடுநாளைய பக்தர். ஒரு முறை அவர் தரிஸனத்துக்கு வந்த போது, ஒர் அனுக்கத் தொண்டர், அவரிடம் முரட்டுத் தனமாக நடந்து கொண்டு விட்டார்.
சிவசங்கரனுக்கு எல்லையில்லாத வருத்தம். உடனே தான் பட்ட அவமானத்தை ஓடி சென்று பெரியவாளிடம் புகார் செய்கிற அநாகரீகர் இல்லை அவர்.
பெரியவாளிடம் தனித்துப் பேசக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பு வந்தது.
“மடத்துத் தொண்டர்களில் சில பேர்கள் துஷ்டர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள். தவறு செய்கிறார்கள். பேராசைக்காரர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள். பெரியவா இப்படிப் பட்டவர்களையெல்லாம் பக்கத்தில் வைத்துக் கொண்டு எப்படிதான் சமாளிக்க முடிகிறதோ…” என்று வாழைப்பழத்தில் ஊசி ஏற்றுகிற மாதிரி சொல்லி விட்டார்.
பெரியவாளுக்கு ஒரே சிரிப்பு.
“நீ சொல்கிற தகவல் எனக்கு ஒன்றும் புதுசில்ல”என்று ஒரு பார்வை.
பின்னர் சொன்னார்:
”ஆயிரம் பேர் வேலை செய்கிற ஒரு பாக்டரியில் எல்லாத் தொழிலாளர்களும் திறமைசாலிகளாக, யோக்யர்களாக, ஸின்ஸியராக இருக்கிறார்களா?
அரசாங்கத்தில் லட்சகணக்கான பேர் வேலை செய்கிறார்கள். எல்லோரும் ஒரே லெவலில் இருப்பதில்லை. நிறையப் பேர் வேலை சரியாகச் செய்வதில்லை; அல்லது, தப்பும் தவறுமாகச் செய்கிறார்கள். அவர்களை அப்படியே வீட்டுக்கு அனுப்ப முடியல்லே. அவர்களை வைத்துக் கொண்டே தான் ராஜாங்கம் நடக்கிறது.
ஏனென்றால், அரசும் – அதற்கு ஒரு தலைமையும் – அவசியம்.
தலைமை சரியாக இருக்கான்னு பார்த்தாலே போதும். அவ்வளவுதான் முடியும்.
“ஸ்ரீமடம் ஒரு சமஸ்தானம். பல வகையான சிப்பந்திகள் இருக்கத் தான் செய்வார்கள்…” என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு,“உனக்கு பரமேசுவரனை தெரியுமோ?”என்று கேட்டார் நம் உம்மாச்சி தாத்தா.
சிவசங்கரனுக்கு ஐந்தாறு பரமேசுவரன்களைத் தெரியும். அவர்களில் யாரை குறிப்பிடுகிறார்கள் என்பது புரியாமல் விழித்தார்.
”நான் கைலாசபதி பரமேஸ்வரனைச் சொன்னேன்… அவர் கழுத்தில் பாம்பு இருக்கு. கையில் அக்னி, காலின் கீழ் அவஸ்மாரம் இருக்கு. அவருடைய ருத்ரகணங்கள் எல்லாம் பிரேத, பைசாசங்கள் ! இத்தனையையும் தன்னிடத்திலே வைத்துக் கொண்டு தான் அவர் உலகம் பூரா சஞ்சரிக்கிறார். நடனமும் ஆடறார்.
“பாம்பைக் கீழே போட்டுவிட்டால் அது திரிந்து எல்லோரையும் பயமுறுத்தும், கடிக்கும்.
நெருப்பை கீழே போட்டால், வீடு – காடு எல்லாவற்றையும் அழிச்சிடும்.
அபஸ்மார தேவதையை போக விட்டால், கண்ட பேர்களையெல்லாம் தாக்கி மயக்கம் போடச் செய்யும்.
ப்ரேத – பைசாசங்களைப் பற்றி சொல்லவே வேண்டாம்.
இப்படி துஷ்டர்களை தன் பக்கத்திலேயே வைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பது தான் பரமேசுவரனுடைய பெருமை!”
சிவசங்கரன் அசந்து போய் நின்றார். பெரியவா ஏதோ சமாதானம் சொல்லித் தன்னை அடக்குவார்கள் என்று எதிர்பார்த்தார். ஆனால், என்ன தெள்ளத் தெளிவான உலகியலை ஒட்டிய பதிலைக் கூறி விட்டார்.
உம்மாச்சி தாத்தா சாக்ஷாத் பரமேஸ்வரனே!!!

DO YOU KNOW PARAMESWARAN ?
Sivasankaran had been a long time devotee of SriMatam. Once, when he came to SriMatam for Periava Dharsan, one attendant of the Matam had behaved rudely with him.
Sivasankaran was extremely sad; but he was not of the uncultured type who would go immediately to Periava and make a big complaint against that person.
He had an opportunity to have some time alone with Him.
“Some attendants of Matam are mischievous; they commit mistakes; they are greedy; I do not know how Periava is managing this Matam with such persons around Him”—he told Periava in a polished way (like inserting a needle into the Banana!).
Periava laughed aloud.
He looked at him and it told him “ what you are saying is nothing new to me “.
He told him, “In a factory where there are thousand employees, is everyone sincere, loyal and skilled? There are lakhs of people working in the Government; not all of them are of the same level; a lot of them do not perform their duty properly; or commit a lot of mistakes; Government cannot send them home; it is running, keeping such persons also with it.
Because, a government and a head for it are necessary.
One has to see if the head is proper; that is only possible.
SriMatam is a ‘Samasthanam’; there will be many types of servants here.”
He, then asked him, “Do you know Parameswaran ?”
Sivasankaran knew some five or six Parameswarans, but was unable to understand which one Periava was asking about.
“I asked you about Kailasapathi Parameswaran (Lord Shiva). There is a snake around His neck; he holds a fire in one of His hands; His one leg is placed on Abasmaram (a symbol representing all evils); all His Rudhra Ganas are ghosts; He is roaming around the universe and dancing, keeping all these near Him.
If He drops the snake, it will go and frighten everyone; If He drops the fire, it will destroy everything; and if He lets off the Abasmaram, it will go and attack everyone; no need to say anything about ghosts.
Keeping all these mischievous things with Him is Parameswaran’s glory.
Sivasankaran was stunned ! He expected that Periava would give him a simple explanation and counsel him. But what a clear answer He gave with an analogy of practical examples !
‘Ummachi Thatha’ is true( visible) Parameswaran only !

Now it is clear, how difficult it is for lord Shiva to keep all these Agni, bhutaganas under His control and run the cosmic administration. It is still more clear that, in case all these are set free, we all will be no more.
A part from the above,in our system of adminstration one has to go to the top for all grievances.if some control system is put in place below such issues can be controlled effectively.

Many a times Maha Periyava admitted that He is the very Parameshwara but His Gunaseela and easily approachable nature was Maha maya clouding His true nature to enable anyone to reach Him

I accept your deep respect for Maha Periyava but Ummachi is a shortened form of Uma Maheshwaran (vide Deivatthin Kural) any flower offered to His feet becomes fragrant
I am speechless. I am going to hold on to this principle for life!
