The Board of Sanatana Dharma Foundation Inc is very pleased to invite everyone to a special occasion that has been planned to announce the initiative to bring forth a Maṇimanḍapa For His Holiness Chandraśekharendra Sarasvatī Svāmigal (68th Śankarāchārya of Kānci Kāmakoṭi Pīṭha) in New Jersey. On this occasion, there will be a Muthuswami Dikshitar Aradhana Concert by Sri Prasanna Venkatesh/Smt Radhika Mani/Sri Kumar Kanthan.
Please mark your calendar, attend in large number to show your support and be part for this great initiative. The key members from the core committee will be more than happy to spend time with each of you to answer any question you might have and engage you going forward also….

The response of Sri Sankara Chidambaram Mama to the above event by requesting all of you out there to follow certain directions can be welcomed by all. If they are attempted with earnestness, the result would be astounding and heart filling.
The eleven commandments (a to K) conveyed by him can be broken into eleven action points and can be assigned to such of the devotees who are keen and willing, having natural inclination/flair with fair ideas so that each of these commandments can be taken forward to sustained level.

Sir, It is good to learn that a Mani Mandapam for Sri Periyava is going to be inaugurated on Oct 18 at NY, by the Bhaktas. My earnest request to the organisers is that this Mandapam will, apart from serving as a meeting point of all the devotees, should function as per His desire always. VEDA UDDHARANA was the subject, He lived for. So all the devotees must (a) arrange for Veda Adhyapana with all its six angas (b) teach all the four Vedas (c) undertake Dharma anushtana as prescribed in the Vedas, by themselves and most importantly by their children (d) and take steps for such activities (e) arrange for samashti gayatri japam every sunday (f) samashti Gayatri Homam, once a month (g) Reading of Deivathin Kural or Voice of God, on earmarked days (h) take a resolve that each one will converse ONLY in mother tongue at homes (i) avoid taking meat, liquor, cigarette or any narcotics (j) avoid gala assemblies where men and women mix closely together (k) learn Sanskrit, as much as possible, to enable reading Ramayana and the Mahabharata.If we do all this we will be really following Sri Periyava.
