Sri Chandrasekar Mama has been working in defense & was admitted in the Defense Hospital, Pune for some health problem. Due to a wrong injection, he slipped into coma stage. He is the brother of Sri Gowrishankar Mama of Thiruvannamalai was attending to him. A Dr in that hospital from Coimbatore has told Sri Gowrishankar mama that it is rarest of the rare to get back a person of this condition from coma & asked him to pray to his God/ Guru. So he has come back to Kanchi to have darshan of Sri MahaPeriyava. He got his darshan at Orikkai & has tried to recite Thiruvembavai

“உன் கையில் பிள்ளை உனக்கே அடைக்கலம்…” but he couldn’t complete as burst out crying. Periyava waited till he gets over & asked him to complete the Thiruvembavai…

Then with karunyam, Periyava has listened to him and gave him a plate full of kumkum & asked him to send this prasadham immediately to His brother at least by post. It was sent.

Mama’s friend who rec’d the post has mixed the kumkum with water & applied all over the body. The Nurse was screaming at him on seeing the condition of the patient. Prasdam has reached the patient, Sri Chandrasekar Mama. On that night…
Nurse who was on duty was from Tamilnadu heard a sound & rushed to the bed. She was shocked & surprised because the patient who was in coma rolled over & fell down. She was trying to get him on bed but even more surprising was that Sri Chandrasekar Mama was blabbering, “பெரியவா! பெரியவா! பெரியவா போறாளே… நமஸ்காரம் கூட பண்ணலியே…” & got back his consciousness.

Since then Sri Chandrasekar Mama used to say that the body given by his parents have gone & this body was given by Periyava, of course always with tears in his eyes.

We are also in coma stage (immersed in this world) forgetting Iswara.Sri Sivan Sar and Sri Periyava to bless us to wake up.
