சாவியும், மணியனும் பெரியாரைப் பேட்டி கண்டு விகடனில் எழுதுவதற்காக திருச்சிக்குப் போயிருந்தார்கள். அங்கே பெரியார் மாளிகையில் பேட்டியை முடித்துக் கொண்டு அங்கிருந்து இளையாத்தங்குடிக்குப் போனார்கள். இவர்கள் போன போது ஸ்வாமிகள் ஒரு மரத்தடியில் அமர்ந்து பக்தர்களுடன் உரையாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
–
சாவியைக் கண்டதும், ‘நேரே மெட்ராசிலிருந்து வரயா ? இல்ல வழில எங்கேயாவது தங்கிட்டு வரயா ?’ என்று கேட்டார்.
–
‘திருச்சியில் பெரியாரைச் சந்தித்து விட்டு வருகிறோம்’ என்ற உண்மையைச் சொல்ல அப்போது சாவிக்கு தைரியம் வரவில்லை. அதனால், ‘மெட்ராஸ்லேர்ந்து வரோம்’ என்று பொய்யும் சொல்லாமல் மெய்யும் சொல்லாமல் பொதுவாகச் சொல்லி விட்டார்.
–
ஸ்வாமிகள் அமர்ந்திருந்த அந்தச் சூழ்நிலையே வித்தியாசமாக இருந்தது. சற்று தூரத்தில் யாரோ ஒரு வயசான வெள்ளைக்கார பெண்மணி ஒருத்தி உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார். அந்தப் பெண்மணி அங்கிருந்தபடியே மஹா பெரியவரைக் கண்கொட்டாமல் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.
–
‘நீ என்ன சொன்னாலும் வாசன் கேப்பாராமே’ என்று திடீரென ஸ்வாமிகள் பேச்சை ஆரம்பித்தார்.
–
‘பெரியவா நினைக்கிற மாதிரி அப்படியெல்லாம் இல்லை. பெரியவா ஏதாவது சொல்லச் சொன்னா அதை அப்படியே வாசன் அவர்களிடம் சொல்லத் தயாராக இருக்கிறேன்’ என்றார் சாவி.
–
‘உங்க விகடன்ல கிறிஸ்துவ மதத்துல சேரச் சொல்லி வாரா வாரம் ஒரு விளம்பரம் வரதே, நீ அதை பாத்திருக்கியோ?’
–
‘பாத்திருக்கேன்’
–
‘அந்த விளம்பரத்தை நிறுத்திடணும்னு ஆனந்த விகடன்லேர்ந்து வரவா கிட்டேயெல்லாம் சொல்லிப் பார்த்துட்டேன். அவா எல்லாரும் உன் பேரைச் சொல்லி சாவி சொன்னா வாசன் கேட்பார்னு சொல்றா. அதனால நீ அதை வாசன் கிட்டச் சொல்லி உடனே நிறுத்திடு’ என்றார்.
–
‘சரி.. சொல்கிறேன்’ என்று சாவி உடனே பதில் சொல்லி விடவில்லை. பெரியவரிடம் கொஞ்சம் வாதாடிப் பார்த்தார்.
–
‘இந்து மதம் கடல் போன்றது. பெரும் சிறப்புகளை உள்ளடக்கியது. அது அவ்வளவு எளிதில் அழிந்து விடக் கூடியதல்ல. ஒரு வேளை இந்த விளம்பரத்தைப் பார்த்துக் கொஞ்சம் பேர் கிறிஸ்துவ மதத்துக்குப் போய் விடுகிறார்கள் என்றே வைத்துக் கொள்வோம். அதனால் ஹிந்து மதத்துக்குப் பெரிய நஷ்டம் ஏற்பட்டு விடப் போவதில்லை.அது அத்தனை பலஹீனமான மதமும் அல்ல’ என்று ஒரு துணிச்சலோடு சொல்லி விட்டார் சாவி.

சாவி இப்படிப் பேசுவதைக் கேட்டு பெரியவர் கோபம் அடையவில்லை.
–
”அப்படியா சொல்கிறாய் நீ ? இத பார், 1920-லிருந்து எவ்வளவு பேர் இந்து மதத்திலிருந்து மற்ற மதங்களுக்கு மாறியிருக்கிறார்கள்’ என்ற புள்ளி விவரங்களை எடுத்துச் சொல்லி ‘வர வர இந்து மதத்திலிருந்து வேறு மதம் மாறுகிறவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகமாகிக்கொண்டே போகிறது. இப்படியே போனால் ‘எறும்பு ஊறக் கல்லும் தேயும்‘ என்கிற மாதிரி ஆயிடும்” என்றார் மஹா பெரியவர்.

சிறிது நேரம் மௌனம்.

பிறகு தொடர்ந்தார் மஹா பெரியவர்…
–
“ஆர்தர் கொய்ஸ்ட்லர்னு ஒரு கம்யூனிஸ்ட் ரைட்டர் என்னை வந்து சந்திச்சான். பல கேள்விகள் கேட்டான். கிறிஸ்துவர்கள் பிரார்த்தனை செய்யும் சர்ச்சுகளில் எப்பவும் அமைதி நிலவுகிறது. ஆனா உங்க கோயில்களில் எப்பவும் வாத்தியங்களின் சத்தம், குழந்தைகளின் கூச்சல், மக்களின் இரைச்சல் என்று ஒரே சத்தமாயிருக்கிறதே. பிரார்த்தனை செய்யும் இடம் அமைதியா இருக்க வேண்டாமா ?” என்று என்னைக் கேட்டான்.
–
“சர்ச்சுகள் நீங்க பிரார்த்தனை செய்கிற இடமாக இருப்பதால் அங்கே அமைதி காக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்துக்கள் பிரார்த்தனை செய்வது கோயில்களில் அல்ல. ஆண்டவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிற இடமாகத்தான் கோயில்கள் உள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிலும் பூஜை அறை என்று ஒரு அறை இருக்கும். அங்கேதான் பிரார்த்தனை பண்ணுவோம். அதை விட்டால் நதிக் கரையில் பிரார்த்தனை செய்வோம். கோயிலுக்குப் போய் நைவேத்தியங்கள் வைத்து ஆண்டவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவோம். விவசாயிகள் அறுவடை முடிந்ததும் பொங்கல் படைத்து ஆண்டவனுக்கு ‘நன்றி’ செலுத்துவதற்காகவே பொங்கல் பண்டிகை கொண்டாடுகிறோம். ராஜாக்களுக்குக் கப்பம் கட்டி நன்றி செலுத்துவது போல் ஆண்டவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறோம். அதனால் இந்துக்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துகிற இடம் சப்தமாகத்தான் இருக்கும். மேள தாளங்களுடன் மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்கும்” என்று நான் சொன்ன பதிலில் அவன் ரொம்ப ‘கன்வின்ஸ்’ ஆயிட்டான்.
–
“என்னைப் பார்க்கும் போது ஏசுநாதரைப் பார்ப்பது போல் இருப்பதாக (I saw Christ in him) அவன் எழுதிய ‘Lotus and the Robot‘ என்ற புத்தகத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளான். உனக்கு டாக்டர் ராகவன் தெரியுமோல்லியோ? மியூசிக் அகாடமி செக்ரட்டரி, அவனிடம் அந்தப் புத்தகத்தோட காப்பி இருக்கு. நீ மெட்ராஸ் போனதும் அதை வாங்கிப் படி” என்று கூறிய பெரியவர் அதோடு நிறுத்திக் கொள்ளவில்லை. “அதோ அங்கே உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறாளே அந்தப் பெண்மணி, அந்த ரைட்டர் – அவர்கள் இரண்டு பேருமே கிறிஸ்துவ மதத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள். அந்தப் பெண்மணியும் என்னிடம் ஏசுநாதரைக் காண்பதாகச் சொல்கிறாள். ஆனா இந்து மதத்தைச் சேர்ந்த நாம் இந்துக்களை கிறிஸ்துவ மதத்தில் சேரச் சொல்லி விளம்பரப்படுத்தறோம், இது சரியா ?” என்று கேட்டார்.

இதையெல்லாம் கேட்கக் கேட்க சாவிக்குப் பெரியவர் பேச்சில் இருந்த நியாயம் விளங்கியது. அவரை வணங்கி ஆசி பெற்று, “நான் வாசன் அவர்களிடம் உங்கள் விருப்பத்தைத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன்” என்று மட்டும் சொல்லி விட்டு விடை பெற்றுக் கொண்டார்.

சாவி சென்னை திரும்பியதும் முதலில் இது பற்றி வாசன் அவர்களைப் பார்த்துப் பேசத் தான் எண்ணியிருந்தார். ஆனாலும் பாலு அவர்களிடமே முதலில் தெரிவித்து அவர் அபிப்பிராயம் அறிந்து கொள்வது தான் முறை என்று தீர்மானித்து பாலு அவர்களிடம் விஷயத்தை எடுத்துச் சொன்னார்.
–
“இது ஒரு விளம்பரம்தான். நம்ம கருத்து இல்லையே… இதெல்லாம் வியாபாரம்… இது காஞ்சிப் பெரியவருக்கு நன்றாக விளங்குமே!” என்றார் பாலு.
–
“அதென்னவோ, எப்படியானாலும் விளம்பரத்தை நிறுத்தி விடுங்கள். பெரியவர் வார்த்தைக்கு நாம் மதிப்புத் தர வேண்டியது அவசியம்” என்றார் சாவி.
–
சாவி நீண்ட நேரம் விவாதித்துப் பார்த்தார். பாலு அவர்கள் சம்மதிக்கவில்லை.
–
சாவியும் விடாக் கண்டனாயிருந்து மேலும் மேலும் வாதாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். கடைசியில் பாலு சற்று நேரம் யோசித்து விட்டு விளம்பரத்துறை மேலாளரை அழைத்து அந்த விளம்பரம் பற்றிய விவரங்களைத் தெளிவாக விசாரித்துத் தெரிந்து கொண்டார்.
–
‘ஒரு வருட ஒப்பந்தம். இன்னும் ஆறு வாரம் பாக்கியிருக்கிறது’ என்றார் மேலாளர்.
–
‘பரவாயில்லை. இந்த வாரமே அதை நிறுத்தி விடுங்கள். அந்த விளம்பரம் தந்தவர்களுக்கு கன்வின்சிங்கா ஒரு லெட்டர் எழுதி விடுங்கள்’ என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பி விட்டார். சாவி நிம்மதிப் பெருமூச்சு விட்டார்.
–
‘இப்போது திருப்திதானே ?’ என்று கேட்டார் பாலு.
–
‘ரொம்ப ரொம்ப…’ என்று சாவி நன்றி உணர்வோடு அவரைப் பார்த்தார்.

actually the answer lies in gita. in fact bible is what the gita says or if one reads bible as a literature rather than a relgious book one will find almost all the things are what is there in our upanishads or gita (examples st.paul’s letters to collatians and coreantheans where the duties of sons,fathers,teachers and wives are repeated!). while periava was always against any conversion – when a christian asked periava that he wanted to convert to hinduism, periava asked him why and he said because he loved what is there in hinduism, periava asked him have you read bible, go and read and you will find them there. each one should follow their own religion and there is no question of conversion at all is periavas view. the common tie is love, pure love, unadulterated love. so any one who writes as gita or bible are both right because the answer appears in both and the same answer!!!

I think its also important to prepare a booklet which can be a guide to tackle people who try to convert people. A list of questions and answers countering the reasons for conversion can be explained as even educated people are falling to these traps.

We have heard about what the Christians in India have called the persecutions against them. However, there is much more to this story than we often hear, and there are certainly two sides to it. The following is a first-hand investigative article that relates what has really been going on with the Christians in India, much of which has been kept from the public. This shows the duplicity in the Christian activities in India. WILL HINDUISM SURVIVE THE PRESENT CHRISTIAN OFFENSIVE?

When Prime Minister Vajpayee was in the US in September (2000) , the National Association of Asian Christians in the US (whom nobody had heard about before), paid $ 50,000 to the New York Times to publish “an Open Letter to the Honorable Atal Bihari Vajpayee, prime minister of India.”
While “warmly welcoming the PM,” The NAAC expressed deep concern about the “persecution” of Christians in India by “extremist” (meaning Hindu) groups mentioning as examples “the priest, missionaries and church workers who have been murdered,” the nuns “raped,” and the potential enacting of conversion laws, which would make “genuine” conversions illegal. The letter concluded by saying “that Christians in India today live in fear.”
The whole affair was an embarrassment (as it was intended to be) to Mr. Vajpayee and the Indian delegation, which had come to prod American businessmen to invest in India, a peaceful, pro-Western and democratic country.
I am born a Christian and I have had a strong Catholic education. I do believe that Christ was an incarnation of Pure Love and that His Presence still radiates in the world. I also believe there are human beings who sincerely try to incarnate the ideals of Jesus and that you can find today in India a few missionaries (such as Father Ceyrac, a French Jesuit, who works mostly with lepers in Tamil Nadu) who are incarnations of that Love, tending tirelessly to people, without trying to convert them.
But I have also lived for more than 30 years in India, I am married to an Indian, I have travelled the length and breadth of this country and I have evolved a love and an understanding of India, which few other foreign correspondents have because they are never posted long enough to start getting a real feeling of this vast and often baffling country (nobody can claim to fully understand India). And this is what I have to say about the “persecution” of Christians in India.
Firstly, it is necessary to bring about a little bit of a historical flashback, which very few foreign correspondents (and unfortunately also Indian journalists) care to do, which would make for a more balanced view of the problem.
If ever there was persecution, it was of the Hindus at the hands of Christians, who were actually welcomed in this country, as they have been welcomed in no other place on this planet. Indeed, the first Christian community of the world, that of the Syrian Christians, was established in Kerala in the first century. They were able to live in peace and practice their religion freely, even imbibing some of the local Hindu customs, thereby breaking the Syrian Church in two.
When Vasco de Gama landed in Kerala in 1498, he was generously received by the Zamorin, the Hindu king of Calicut, who granted him the right to establish warehouses for commerce. But once again, Hindu tolerance was exploited and the Portuguese wanted more and more. In 1510, Alfonso de Albuquerque seized Goa, where he started a reign of terror, burning “heretics,” crucifying Brahmins, using false theories to forcibly convert the lower castes, razing temples to build churches upon them and encouraging his soldiers to take Indian mistresses.
Indeed, the Portuguese perpetrated here some of the worst atrocities ever committed in Asia by Christianity upon another religion. Ultimately, the Portuguese had to be kicked out of India, when all other colonisers had already left.
British missionaries in India were always supporters of colonialism. They encouraged it and their whole structure was based on “the good Western civilized world being brought to the Pagans.” Because, in the words of Claudius Buchanan, a chaplain attached to the East India Company, “Neither truth, nor honesty, honour, gratitude, nor charity, is to be found in the breast of a Hindoo!” What a comment about a nation that gave the world the Vedas at a time when Europeans were still grappling in their caves!
And it is in this way that the British allowed entire chunks of territories in the East, where lived tribals, whose poverty and simplicity made them easy prey to be converted to Christianity. By doing so, the Christian missionaries cut a people from their roots and tradition, made them look westwards towards a culture and a way of life which was not theirs.
And the result is there today for everyone to see: it is in these eastern states, some of which are 90 per cent Christian, that one finds the biggest drug problems (and crime) in India. It should also be said that many of the eastern separatist movements have been covertly encouraged by Christian missionaries on the ground that “tribals were there before the ‘Aryan Hindus’ invaded India and imposed Hinduism upon them.”
The trouble is that the latest archaeological and linguistic discoveries point to the fact that there NEVER was an Aryan invasion of India –it just was an invention of the British and the missionaries to serve their purpose. Aryanism is a synonym of Vedic culture.
Secondly, Christianity has always striven on the myth of persecution, which in turn bred “martyrs” and saints, indispensable to the propagation of Christianity. But it is little known, for instance, that the first “saints” of Christianity, “martyred” in Rome, a highly refined civilization which had evolved a remarkable system of gods and goddesses, derived from Hindu mythology via the Greeks, were actually killed (a normal practice in those days) while bullying peaceful Romans to embrace the “true” religion, in the same way that later Christian missionaries will browbeat “heathen” Hindus, adoring many gods into believing that Jesus was the only “true” god.
Now to come to the recent cases of persecution of Christians in India at the hands of Hindu groups. I have personally investigated quite a few, amongst them the rape of the four nuns in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, nearly two years ago. This rape is still quoted as an example of the “atrocities” committed by Hindus on Christians.
Yet, when I interviewed the four innocent nuns, they themselves admitted, along with George Anatil, the bishop of Indore, that it had nothing to do with religion: It was the doing of a gang of Bhil tribals, known to perpetrate this kind of hateful acts on their own women. Today, the Indian press, the Christian hierarchy and the politicians, continue to include the Jhabua rape in the list of atrocities against Christians.
Or take the burning of churches in Andhra Pradesh a few months ago, which was supposed to have been committed by the “fanatic” RSS. It was proved later that it was actually the handiwork of Indian Muslims, at the behest of the ISI to foment hatred between Christians and Hindus. Yet the Indian press, which went berserk at the time of the burnings, mostly kept quiet when the true nature of the perpetrators was revealed.
Finally, even if Dara Singh does belong to the Bajrang Dal, it is doubtful if the hundred other accused do. What is more probable, is that like in many other “backward” places, it is a case of converted tribals versus non-converted tribals, of pent-up jealousies, of old village-feuds and land disputes. It is also an outcome of what — it should be said — are the aggressive methods of the Pentecost and Seventh Day Adventist missionaries, known for their muscular ways of conversion.
Thirdly, conversions in India by Christian missionaries of low caste Hindus and tribals are sometimes nothing short of fraudulent and shameful acts. American missionaries are investing huge amounts of money in India, which come from donation-drives in the United States where gullible Americans think the dollars they are giving go towards uplifting “poor and uneducated” Indians.
It is common in Kerala, for instance, particularly in the poor coastal districts, to have “miracle boxes” put in local churches. The gullible villager writes out a paper mentioning his wish such as a fishing boat, a loan for a pucca house, fees for the son’s schooling. And lo, a few weeks later the miracle happens! And of course the whole family converts, making others in the village follow suit.
American missionaries (and their government) would like us to believe that democracy includes the freedom to convert by any means. But France for example, a traditionally Christian country, has a minister who is in charge of hunting down “sects.” And by sects, it is meant anything that does not fall within the recognized family of Christianity — even the Church of Scientology, favoured by some Hollywood stars such as Tom Cruise or John Travolta, is ruthlessly hounded. And look at what the Americans did to the Osho movement in Arizona, or how innocent children and women were burnt down by the FBI (with the assistance of the US army) at Waco, Texas, because they belonged to a dangerous sect.
Did you know that Christianity is dying in the West? Not only is church attendance falling dramatically because spirituality has deserted it, but less and less youth accept the vocation to become priests or nuns. And as a result, say in the rural parts of France, you will find only one priest for six or seven villages, whereas till the late seventies, the smallest hamlet had its own parish priest.
And where is Christianity finding new priests today? In the Third World, of course! And India, because of the innate impulsion of its people towards god, is a very fertile recruiting ground for the Church, particularly in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Hence the huge attention that India is getting from the United States, Australia, or England and the massive conversion drive going on today.
It is sad that Indians, once converted, specially the priests and nuns, tend to turn against their own country and help in the conversion drive. There are very few “White” missionaries left in India and most of the conversions are done today by Indian priests.
Last month, during the bishop’s conference in Bangalore, it was restated by bishops and priests from all over India that conversion is the FIRST priority of the Church here. But are the priests and bishops aware that they would never find in any Western country the same freedom to convert that they take for granted in India? Do they know that in China they would be expelled, if not put into jail? Do they realize that they have been honoured guests in this country for nearly two thousand years and that they are betraying those that gave them peace and freedom?
Hinduism, the religion of tolerance, and spirituality of this new millennium, has survived the unspeakable barbarism of wave after wave of Muslim invasions, the insidious onslaught of Western colonialism which has killed the spirit of so many Third World countries, and the soul-stifling assault of Nehruvianism. But will it survive the present Christian offensive?
Many Hindu religious leaders feel Christianity is a real threat today, as in numerous ways it is similar to Hinduism, from which Christ borrowed so many concepts. (See Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s book: “Hinduism and Christianity”)
It is thus necessary that Indians themselves become more aware of the danger their culture and unique civilization is facing at the hands of missionaries sponsored by foreign money. It is also necessary that they stop listening to the Marxist-influenced English newspapers’ defense of the right of Christian missionaries to convert innocent Hindus.
Conversion belongs to the times of colonialism. We have entered the era of Unity, of coming together, of tolerance and accepting each other as we are, not of converting in the name of one elusive “true” god.
When Christianity accepts the right of other people to follow their own beliefs and creeds, then only will Jesus Christ’s spirit truly radiate in the world.

தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு நிறுவனங்கள் என்கிற பெயரில் காளான்கள் போல உருவாகி இருக்கும் அமைப்புகள், வெளிநாட்டிலிருந்து நன்கொடை பெறவும், அரசு நிதியுதவி பெற்று, பெயருக்குப் போலிக் கணக்கெழுதி பெரும் பகுதியைச் சுருட்டிக் கொள்ளவும் செய்கின்றன என்கிற தகவல் அதிர்ச்சி அளிக்கிறது. உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தின் உத்தரவின்படி மத்தியப் புலனாய்வுத் துறை (ம.பு.து.) நடத்திய விசாரணையில் தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு நிறுவனங்கள் பற்றிய பல திடுக்கிடும் தகவல்கள் வெளியாகி இருக்கின்றன.
120 கோடி மக்கள் தொகையுள்ள இந்தியாவில் 20 லட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு நிறுவனங்கள் செயல்படுகின்றன. இவற்றில் 43,527 நிறுவனங்கள் கடந்த 2011-12 நிதியாண்டுப்
புள்ளிவிவரப்படி, வெளிநாட்டிலிருந்து கணிசமாக நன்கொடைகள் பெறுபவை. ஏறத்தாழ 12,000 கோடி ரூபாய் நன்கொடையாக இந்தியாவுக்கு வருகிறது. இதில் கணிசமான பகுதி, அமெரிக்காவிலிருந்து மட்டுமே பெறப்படுகிறது.
தில்லிதான் மிக அதிகமான வெளிநாட்டு நன்கொடைகள் பெறும் இடமாக இருந்து வருகிறது. யூனியன் பிரதேசமான தில்லியில் செயல்படும் 1,482 தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு நிறுவனங்களுக்கு மட்டுமே ரூ.2,285 கோடி ரூபாய் வெளிநாட்டு நன்கொடை கிடைத்
திருக்கிறது. தமிழகத்தில் 3,341 நிறுவனங்கள் ரூ.1,704 கோடி, ஆந்திரத்தில் 2,527 நிறுவனங்கள் ரூ.1,258 கோடி, மகாராஷ்டிரத்தில் 2,056 நிறுவனங்கள் ரூ.1,107 கோடி வெளிநாட்டு நன்கொடை பெற்றிருப்பதாக மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சகம் தெரிவிக்கிறது.
இந்தியாவில் இயங்கும் தன்னார்வத் தொண்டு நிறுவனங்
களுக்கு மிக அதிகமான நன்கொடைகள் அமெரிக்கா (ரூ.3,838 கோடி), பிரிட்டன் (ரூ.1,219 கோடி), ஜெர்மனி (ரூ.1,096 கோடி), இத்தாலி (ரூ.529 கோடி), நெதர்லாந்து (ரூ.418 கோடி) ஆகிய ஐந்து நாடுகளிலிருந்துதான் வருகின்றன. இந்த நன்கொடைகளில் 80 சதவீதம் கிறிஸ்துவ அமைப்புகளுக்கு வழங்கப்படுகிறது என்பதையும் குறிப்பிட்டாக வேண்டும்.

HH Sri Kanchi ParamaCharya asked him immediately if he is doing Sandhya Vandanam thrice every day. The person does not have a positive answer.

Other methods are more subversive.. Take for example, saccidananda ashram santhivanam or atmajyoti ashram.. You might mistake these for Hindu ashram names..but they are tiger in sheep’s cloth by desert religions.. If you Google them, you will see gopurams for church, Jesus as a siddar with nandi and simham on both sides, etc.,
Any lay illiterate will get convinced its some siddar and then the poison of conversion is injected..
See these new age babas and gurujees.. They are the first to blame..in order to get more followers they put cross along with OM etc., and even literate groups follow them and even say they are sadgurus.. Don’t know if they know the true meaning of what it means..
What can we do..
1) Mahaswamy had given the remedy for these already..get young boys to learn Vedas
2) get young girls to learn Sanskrit, sangam literature,etc.,
3) proudly display tuft in boys and always keeping hair braid in ladies – ladies should never cut their hair or leave them unbraided..it is proven that braided hair keeps hair healthy and sustains youth in ladies.. While unbraided hair makes hair unhealthy, damages brain, causes infertility to set in early in ladies and removes softness from face of ladies much faster giving darker skin and glowless face.
4) all boys, girls, ladies and gentlemen should proudly wear tilak on their foreheads..other religious people proudly display cross or beard.. Also wearing tilak improves memory, reduces stress, gives a respect to personality, opens up the 3rd eye behind the penal gland to understand the future and prevents others from influencing our thoughts. In China, people are made insane by a guy who touches their forehead with water in a specific way.. You can search for this in net..so, ladies and gents in order to avoid getting negatively influenced, should have a tilak to protect their agya chakra.
5) girls should be thought how to draw kolam with rice flour.. There is a big science behind this. It helps improve their problem solving and pattern matching capabilities. This science is being used to develop complex structure for protein molecules in bio technology.. And very importantly, those ladies who draw kolam learn Vedas through it..yes..it is called cymatics..you can see this display of kolams forming for sound automatically in youtube..it is the science of formation of patterns through sound..so, our Hindu science says the reverse is also true by kolam..Buddhist monks also do this to attain metaphysical levels of understanding..
I think if we can start with these and be a proud vegetarian, become a gho sevak, and tee totaled.. Mahaswamy will surely guide us in person.

No amount of writing on this issue is enough. This issue is going on a much larger scale than during Paramacharyal’s days and whatever is possible within our strength has to be done to oppose this.
People in living in India can see the ill effects of this propoganda and it does leave a sick feeling and leaves a lot of worry on the plate. There are governing IAS officers who take this up conversion activity full time in Tamil Nadu and the sort of intemperate language they use has to be read to be believed Such is the state of affairs.
Mahaswamigal’s contention regarding conversion to Christianity is completely True and Correct and we have to follow his wish and continue to be Hindu and all circumstances. We should not pledge our religion to any other bad elements. Alas! Those days are gone over the hill ( ‘malai aeri pochu’- as we say in Tamil ) Vikatan, Kalki, etc- they still come, but their only connection with the old days is their name. Every thing is business- just ‘vyaparam’ They will do anything for money. Dirty cinema and dirtier politics ( or is it the other way ?) are their two eyes. The painful part is they still occasionally write about Periyava- yes because it too sells! What a shame! It is over twenty years since I stopped reading them, after being a subscriber for over 35 years.
You must add Hindu also to the list. Despite its name, it is spreading anti-Hindu views, not subtle most of the time.
You are absolutely right, most of the media (TV/Newspapers) are owned by Christian bodies and express only Anti-Hindu views. Journalism is in the wrong hands.
There converting tact is just like like the ankler(Thoondil) inserted with a worm put in to the tank ,this attracts the fish to eat the worm and caught in the ankler(Thoondil) In the case of HUman being too changing there religion attracted by there false promises with some money for the immediate need.
