This is not imaginary. I distinctly remember the Tamil weekly,’Ananda Vikatan’ publishing a black and white photograph of Periyava lighting a ‘mathaappu’ with the caption which had words like ‘child like joy on HIS face’ or words to that effect. I have been hunting for this to post this before anyone could lay hands on it. Anyway thanks for the painting which does depict HIM as HE alone could be.
Did not know that this actually happened…..How delightful it would have been to see this in real?! Blessed are those people around Him at that time….
