Shri Kamakshi dasan’s father Shri Venkatramaiyer had the unique fortune of serving the 66th, 67th , 68th (Mahaperiyava) and 69th Acharyas of Kanchi mutt.

Today I had the opportunity to meet this great devotee. I was moved about his living condition. Any financial help for him will be great. He lives in Perungalathur opposite to St. Johns School Maraimalai Adigal Street. He can be contacted at 9789149643. His son Sankar is no more and lives with his daughter. The sad part his all those that visit him offer him something, but he is waiting for his last days.

not sandanam ball , it is chandana Meru. Maha Periyaval does avahanam the Divine mother into that as Meru. In one of the interview of Late Sri Ponds Narayana Mama said: Me and my sister Naga Lakshmi saw the chandramouliswara puja, on that day we all observed in that chandana Meru two eyes are blinking of mother from left to right . All we three has same feeling.”
The same was informed to Maha Periyaval after puja by Sri Ponds mama. Maha Periyaval said had your darsan of mother.
Please listen if you want to confirm on that. Chandana Meru worshipped by Maha periyaval was so powerful. Fortunately my mother got it the same one and still we worshiping . when you visit next time ask Bala periyaval he will give you one. Periyaval dont give it on Tuesdays that chandana meru.

SHRi kamakshi dasar’s way of speech itself suggests that it is not just a human speech.The speech itself says of his upasana devi shrikamakshi only is taking care of him and speaking through him. Yes it is not kamakshidasan’s speech, but kamakshi’s speech itself. Dear mahesh, please don’t give up the idea of contributing to this great man, please make efforts to collect as much money as u can and give like u did for veda paathashaala.I think shri periyava himself has selected u for this. May be as a prasadam to what u did for veda paathashaalas.As for me as concerned I can contribute whatever I can.Please start the work. I am sure mahaaperiyavaa will take care.

Divine mother can give a prodigy child of her own because his father ‘s guru bhakthy and peeta seva( Nishkama seva) to Acharyas of Kanchi Peetam.
all the divine incarnations came when Maha periyaval time for some purpose such as Pradosam mama, Sri Mettur swamigal and Sri Kamakshi dasan etc
when Adisankara before his incarnation to this earth , Lord Shiva sends Lord Muruga to earth as Kumarila Battu” to establish Karma theory for propagation to consolidate for vedanta as a prerequisite. Lord Brahma comes down as Mandava mishra and saraswathy comes wife Sarasa vaani and they all has heated arguments with Adisankara and finally they surrender to him.
Bhakthy always greater than anything and all devotee is expected to perform to attain the goal of liberation.
Bhakthy means not simple devotion,in vedanta Adi sankara says a person who establishes ( Anusandanam) with Atman is called BHAKTHY.

– Prahalada’s Bhakthy
– Gajendra Moksham Elephants bhakthy
– Hanuman’s Bhakthy towards Lord Ram
If a person does Nishkama karma( without expecting anything from LORD) he only can mediate because of chitta suddhi.

I wonder if the incident of HH freeing up several calves to feed from their mother cows in order to bless an aged devotee to beget a son ( narrated by thyagu thatha in his interview) has any connection with the birth of Sri kamakshi dasar, who says he was born when his father was nearly 60 years old!

Several months back, I had a detailed conversation with his son. This was after Suresh talked to them. From my conversation, they were looking for an independent house to be built/purchased – particularly they do not want to get into apartment-style living, that will be conducive for their nithya puja etc. We are talking about a project of 50 Lakhs and beyond. In fact I went to the depth of asking how much they have so far so that we can fill the rest etc but it seems like they’re expecting 40-50 lakhs as contribution. Our intents are good – we all want to help him – but we are looking at a very large project that is outside of our strengths. When I started the veda rakshana drive, I got 4 lakhs – we can’t do anything with that money in a large project like this. I do not think that we can help them to meet their goals. Not sure if there is any other way of helping him.
My heart goes for their family but feeling helpless.
Very moving video. Such a simple human being. He has such close contact with Mahaperiava. Wish we could do something for his housing. He deserves to do his Ambal pooja in a nice own house. I am sure that there are well to do individuals who are also Ambal devotee would like to come forward. Could the project be scaled down to 25 to 30 lakhs. I have a strong feeling that Ambal will open someone’s eyes and heart for this to materialize. Kamakshi dasan is in my heart. I will pray for this. Would he be willing to do another interview. What a delightful soul. I am very much moved.

I am based in Chennai. I have visited Sri.Kamakshi Dasan’s house quite a number of times.
He lives in a rented house in Krishnagiri. His family’s income is meagre – they could manage only their
daily food and poojas. It is Sri.Kamakshi Dasan’s fervent wish to get a permanent place where the poojas
could be held without interruption. I have posted this message earlier on this site quite a long time back.
I shall be grateful if the members could suggest a way by which Sri.Kamakshi Dasan’s wish could be
fulfilled. He is quite old and frail. Kindly mail your suggestions and if required I could co-ordinate the efforts.

– I was feeling the same when Sri Kamakshi dasan was presenting the nectar of honey of Sri Kamakshi( Maha Periyaval).
– In every interview, we are listening “Sri Chandrasekhara Bharathy swamigal of Sringeri, really this good phenomena for all of us. Two mahans none other than Sri kamakshi.
– This is the first interveiw,who said about Mani dweepam experience( In Lalitha Sasranama , in one of the namavali it says “Chintamani Gruhasta, Pancha Brahma savitha… and there is no “Mani dweepam” word). This is really true about Mani dweepam the island divine mother resides.
– Only Karana janmas can only go and see divine mother, Even Devathas Lord “Indran” also dont have permission to go there.
– Sri Kamakshi dasan is divine avatara( Reincarnation )
– Who are those 8 or 9 danda Sanysasins came to see him and had milk( Sri Kamakshi is Sri Daskhina moorthy swaroopini, may be that reason
the sidda purushas may come in the human and Mother cleared their doubts , Maha Periyval instrumental for them to direct to him).
