Dear Sri Sivaraman: Namaskaram. I am so much delighted that you have taken the correction that I pointed out to you in the right spirit. Actually these days I hesitate a bit before I venture into suggesting such corrections because normally people do not like it. They take it as a personal affront. For example in early 2012 the monthly journal AMARABHARATHI (started by Sri Mahaperiyavaa himself) published the Gayatri mantram wrongly. They had published it as “Tatsa vitur varenyam….” I immediately called up the Editor and brought to his knowledge the mistake. I told him that Gayatri mantram is as follows: “Tat Savitur varenyam…” and not “Tatsa vitur varenyam…”. I told him since journals like Amarabharati are guiding lights for our people and something as basic as Gayatri mantram should not be printed wrong. Therefore I requested him to come out with a correction in the next issue. Although he agreed with me on this score, he did not publish the correction in the next issue. Again I telephoned him from New Delhi. This time there was an added mistake of the word “Sraadham” published as “Sraardham” in it. I pointed out to the Editor of Amarabharati that the correction in respect of Gayatri is yet to be published, and that the journal has committed an added mistake pertaining to this word “Sraadham”.
I told him that the Editorship of religious journals is serious business, and that only those who are dedicated to the cause, and those who are knowledgeable on issues pertaining to our faith should take up the responsibility of Editor. Or else they should switch over to secular journals, newspapers like Kumudam, Kunkumam, Dinatanti, Dinamalar etc.
The long and short of it is that the AMARABHARATI is yet to publish the corrections pertaining to our Gayatri mantram and the word “Sraadham”. May be the Editor is too very preoccupied to attend to such “trivial’ issues.
That way I am impressed by your humility and the willingness to stand corrected. Thank you!

Dear Sri Sivaraman: Namaskaram. Thank you so much for this interview which presents Sri Periyavaa’s life from very close quarters. Sri Thiaghu Thatha re-lives his moments with Sri Periyavaa with tremendous amount of zest and zeal.
At probably, 1.31 (1 hr 31 mts) you are discussing about the annual rites being performed for Sri “Sivan Sir”. You are mentioning that SRAArDHAM is being performed for him etc. I am one who has read all the 7 volumes of Sri Periyavaa’s DEIVATHTHIN KURAL . Sri Periyavaa very clearly says, in so many words, that our people have started mispronouncing the word “SRAADHAM” as “SRAArDHAM” which is wrong. He says the correct word for the annual rites is SRAADHAM and NOT sraardham. That is, there is no `r’ in between. He has also mentioned the same thing about our Sankalpa mantram of “Mamo paatha, samastha….” which we have started pronouncing as “Mamo paartha…” which is wrong. Sri Periyavaa says it is “Mamo paatha” only and there is no `r’ in between here as well.
The reason why I am bringing this to your knowledge is that you are in a position where your words can act as a guide for commoners like us. Therefore, it is all the more important that you mention the words accurately. And since I have read Sri Periyavaa’s Deivaththin Kural I know for sure what I am saying is correct because it has been corrected by HIM. I thought it is my duty to bring it to your knowledge. Kindly pardon me if I have given an opinion to the contrary in this matter.

Ex: The Cucumber( In Sanscrit URVARUKAM Lady( black color= Black is Tamoguna and Maha Kali swaroopam) and she sells for Rs 5/-( five signifies panchaboothas, why she sells only for Rs 5? because the cucumber grown in panchaboothas ( Land water air agnia and akasa only)
The significance of cucumber creeper when it separates, plant doesn’t know it has been separated . So every human make a effort to separate when they have to leave the mortal body and merge in parabrahman.
Maha periyaval provided with pragmatic answer to all devotees that we can not provide the offerings to Lord which is unfit to use( ex: having hole in the cloth to Triupurasundari, not having salt( shat ruchees (tastes)missing in the dish). The perfection is 200% when anyone does the divine task with utmost devotion
Ex: Ambal came as mendicant and stood in front of Maha periyaval while performing Chandramouliswara pooja. Only Maha periyaval knows she is only Ambal came to take saree to compensate the actual provided.The disciple try to go behind her but could not trace her.
we can give any extent elaborate answers like this.
we must pray that our Avidya should wipe off and we must be in right path to seek the blessings of Maha periyaval.
what a glorified face of Sri Thiagu mama and if one observed him what a beautiful radiant face with Tapas ( served for Maha periyaval). Thigu mama is one more incarnation who come to associate Maha periyaval.

At the end of the interview, what was his feeling when he hear about Periyavaa, Thiagu mama says “ஆனந்தம், நம்பளை தெரியாம அழுகை வரும், உடம்பில என்ன நடக்கிறதென்னே தெரியாது, ஒரு நிமிஷம் ஆகும் அதுக்கு அப்புறம்தான்”. A Great devotee. Its True.

This presentation can not be described in words. If someone completely fasting ( Nirjalam) on Ekadashi day and he was served by virundu on next day , the same feeling I felt.( not only me whoever listens this they feel the same). Last four days I am waiting for new interview here.
Sir, My sastanga Namaskarams to this Mama. even if you would have shown his foot in the interview I would have prostrated here but I did while seeing him.
This is one of the best and never compared with any interviews. I think all people must listen and no one should not miss this video interview.
First of all I am telugu I enjoyed his Telugu version very nicely. I think this is first video has Telugu words more.
his Sasranam the way he said on Periyaval.How Periyaval is eswara and enjoying in the late nights with flute sound.
How periyaval shown how Ambal play in Kailasam.
How Maha periyaval provided saree to the lady came in the form of Amabal .
When he left the screen for a second what he saw in pooja how Ambal is sitting.
How Sringeri swamigal spoken Telugu and inquired about Maha Periyaval. ( All sringeri saints ascending to Sringeri peetam all from Telugu background only).
When Maha periyaval before attaining the mukthi what he expressed after 10 years going to happen.
These devotees who served Maha periyval they already saw the Parabrhaman and Ambal in some form.
Even doing Namaskarams to this mama we get punya.
I think one has to listen this video ten times and the happiness can not described in words.One has to feel it.
