  5. Sir, The instance at Vyasa Shantaleeswarar Koil, recited here, brings to my mind an experience I had Once when we had been to Thenambakkam for His darshan, He was in kashtha mounam, i.e., he was in deep silence and in meditation, and did not look at any of us gathered for His darshan. We all had to be satisfied with a darshan of Him, as we had to return to Kanchi, to offer Bhikshavandana at the Mutt. After that Bhishavandana, we all returned direct to Chennai, the same day, and it was a Sunday. My mind was intensely disturbed in that none of us were ‘SEEN’ by Him during this trip. I mentioned this to my friend the next day, Monday, while at work. Immediately, we both (Sri Neelakanta Iyer and myself), left for Kanchi, that AN itself, and reached Thenambakkam at dusk, when it was getting dark. HH was in His hut, and in mounam, but He signalled to Srikantan on seeing us, His disciple there, to bring a Deepam and place it in front of US, who were standing on the other side of the well, He was sitting. He ‘SAW’ us for some time and BLESSED us in mounam.. Evidently, our mental disturbances were reflected in His mind, a Karuna Moorti and SARVA BHOOTHANTHARATHMAN !! S.C.IYER 12 12 12
