அவர் ஆஸ்தானம் கொண்டிருந்த தேனம்பாக்கம் சிவாஸ்தானத்தில் அன்று இளங்காலை ஒரே பரபரப்பு, பதைபதைப்பு என்றே சொல்லலாம்.
உடனிருந்தோர் உறக்கம் கலைந்து பார்க்கும்போது பெரியவாளை காணோம். சிவா ஸ்தான ஆலய சூழலில் முழுதும் தேடி பார்த்தும் காண முடியவில்லை. பரபரப்பும் பதைபதைப்பும் ஏற்படாதிருக்குமா?
முட்புதர்கள் மண்டிக்கிடக்கும் ஓரிடத்தில் ஸ்ரீ சரணர் சுருண்டு கிடக்கிறார்.
‘அவராக வந்து இந்த முள்ளுப்படுக்கை உவந்தாரா, அல்லது….?’ எண்ணாததெல்லாம் எண்ணி அடியார் கணம் அருகு நெருங்க, அவர் பளிச்சென்று எழுந்து அமர்கிறார். அந்த மட்டும் வயிற்றில் பால் வார்த்து விட்டார். ஆயினும் திருமேனியில் அப்பியது போல், முள் அங்கி பூண்டுள்ள கோலம் அடியார்களின் நெஞ்சில் கூர்ப்பாக தைக்கிறது.
வயது முதிர்ந்த பக்தர் ஒருவர் ‘ஐயோ, பெரியவா, இதென்ன சோதனை?’ என்று வாய்விட்டு அலறுகிறார்.
பெரியவாள் சொல்கிறார் …
‘இந்த நாள்ல ஜன சமூஹத்தை வசீகரிச்சு பிடிச்சிண்டு இருக்கிறதா, கை நெறைய சம்பாதிக்கறதுக்கு தினுசு தினுசா படிப்புகள் இருக்கு. அப்படி இருக்கறப்ப, என் வார்த்தையை மதிச்சு,(நெகிழ்ந்த குரலில்), என்னை நம்….பிண்டு சில தாயார்-தோப்பனார்மார் தங்கள் கொழந்தேளை வருமானம், ‘ஆனர்’, ‘பேஷன்’ எதையும் கவனிக்காம, (வேத) பாட சாலைகளுக்கு அனுப்பிண்டு இருக்கா. அந்த கொழந்தைகளும் ஊர் ஒலகத்திலே ஒடனொத்த கொழந்தைகள் தினம் ஒரு டிரஸ், வேளைக்கு ஒரு ஹோட்டல் ன்னு இருந்துண்டு இருக்கறப்ப, ஒரு மூணரை மொழ சோமனை சுத்திண்டு, போடற உண்டை கட்டியை தின்னுக்கிண்டு, வெளிலே தலை காட்டினாலே, ‘சிண்டு டோய்’ ன்னு பரிகாசத்தை வாங்கி கட்டிண்டு தொண்டை தண்ணி வத்த ஸந்தை சொல்லிண்டு இருக்குகள்…’
ஏதோ ஓரிடத்தில் ஸ்ரீ மடத்தின் ஆதரவில் நடை பெறும் பாடசாலையை குறிப்பிட்டுவிட்டு தொடர்கிறார். ‘அங்கே கொழந்தைகள் என்னமோ விஷமம் பண்ணிடுத்துகள் – ங்கறதுக்காக சமையல்கார அம்மா புது தொடைப்பத்தால அடிச்சுட்டாளாம், வேதம் படிக்கிற கொழந்தேளுக்கு எப்படி இருந்திருக்கும்ன்னு கொஞ்சம் தெரிஞ்சுக்கறதுக்கு தான்…’

Our PeriyaVas love towards Veda Vidyarthis and Veda pandits are very much.I had an experience in my life”When Vadhyar of our village,Perumbavoor(Kerala–hardly 5 kilometers from the birth place of Adi Sankara Bhagavath Pada) who is our purohithar,was lied down and hospitalised,there ancestors are from Vaitheeswaran koil in tamilnadu,He is very much devoted to Kanchi Paramacharyal.I have written a letter to Srimatam about his ailments and with in a weeks time He passed away.I have informed this also to Srimatam,on the Shubhasweekaram day Our Acharyal”s prasadam reached home,they are all very much happy to receive the prasadam and every one remember Brahmasri Venkatrama Vadhyar devotion to Acharyal. This incident prove our Acharyas unflinched affection towards VedaPandits,Hara Hara Sankara.Jaya Jaya Sankara.
