FYI on Facebook Group on Mahaperiyava

Dear Readers,

I came to know of a Facebook group called “Sage of Kanchi” managed  by Shri Krishnamurthy Krishnaiyer. I see lot of postings, very similar to this blog etc.. ..I would encourage all of you to check that out, if you are an active FB user. Enjoy!

Here is the link:: http://www.facebook.com/groups/130639733671164/

I see lot of individuals having their blogs/pages with lot of information – but most of them are very much repeated. However all their intentions are noble. In fact I reached out to one of those guys and told him why cant we each other give proper links to other sites as opposed to duplicating info – he didn’t listen:-) When I started the blog, my idea was to consolidate all information in one place, but didnt take too long to realize that proliferation of information on the web can’t be stopped – lets just face it.

I will continue to post only information that I know for sure is new and will give links to existing sites.

  1. dEAR mAHESHJI, tHERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MY THANKS TO U. THE BEUATY OF PERIAVAL IS THAT AS SIMPLE HE IS , HIS EXPLATIONS ARE ALSO SIMPLE EVEN A LAY MAN CAN UNDERSTAND OUR RELIGON WELL i DEVATHIN KURAL HE EXPLAINS ADVAITA WHICH IS SO EASY TO UNDERSTAND EVEN ILLITRATE VIKLLAGE MAN

  2. Hi Mahesh
    Thanks for sharing the link. this is very good.
    I would any differ on your opinion to publish only new info in your blog. There are chances that some of us did not see few other sites on our paramacharya. Infact my opinion is duplication should not be a botheration. I have come to your blog to read the same articles multiple times. everytime we see paramacharya’s photos, hear paramacharyas discourses and read deivathin kural, we get more and new learnings. infact many devotee experiences are repeated in many links my humble opinion is repetitions does not lead to sensationalisation. rather gives more opportuntiy for many believers to experience our mahaperiyavaa’s perarul again and again.

    • Looks like my point was missed. I never say that all contents should be published only in my blog. I don’t own any single piece of information – in fact nobody does……we all cherish talking/reading/hearing about Mahaperiyava…. I only say don’t duplicate – in computer terms ” don’t cut and paste” – just give a link.. Good example is there are lots of devotees experience in kamakoti.org. I will give a link from my blog to their site. I won’t duplicate that. I have given lot of such links to external sites – it is an effective way of using computer disk space…..

      • Hi Mahesh
        looks like ive been misunderstood:-) you have been doing such a devine service. if have to say how favorite your blog for me, i have kept your wordpress as my home page.

        What i said was whether the link is shared or cut and pasted in another website, articles about mahaperiyavaa is pure anandam.

        when lot of crap is spread across the web, it will be a privilege to see our mahaperiyavaa’s jewel like advice anywhere anytime in anyway (url or duplication of same information) in the net. im sure you would agree with this:-)

        best regards
        Mahesh

      • 200% 🙂
