ஏழையாய் பிறக்க காரணம் என்ன?
சிலர் பணக்காரர்களாகவும் பலர் வறுமையில் வாடுவதுமே உலகில் நாம் காணும் உண்மை. இந்த நிலை ஏன் ஏற்படுகிறது என்பதற்கு சமஸ்கிருத ஸ்லோகம் ஒன்று பதில் சொல்கிறது.
அக்ஷர-த்வய-மப்யஸ்தம் நாஸ்தி நாஸ்தி யத் புரா!
ததவே தேஹி தேஹீதி விபரீத-முபஸ்திதம்!!
என்ற ஸ்லோகத்தில் நாஸ்தி நாஸ்தி என்றால் இல்லை இல்லை என்று பொருள். தேஹி தேஹி என்றால் கொடு கொடு என்று பொருள். யாரொருவன் முற்பிறவியில் இல்லை இல்லை என்று தன்னிடம் பிச்சை கேட்டவனை விரட்டினானோ, அவன் இப்பிறவியில் கொடு கொடு என்று பிச்சை கேட்பவனாக பிறக்கிறான். அதற்காக, கையை நீட்டும் சோம்பேறிக்கெல்லாம் பிச்சை போடக்கூடாது. உண்மையிலேயே முடியாதவர்களுக்கு, ஏழைப்பெண்களின் திருமணத்திற்கு, ஏழைக்குழந்தைகளின் படிப்புக்கு உதவுவதே நிஜமான பிச்சை.
திருமால் கூட பிச்சையெடுக்கப் போகிறோமே என எண்ணி மகாபலி முன் உடலை குறுக்கிக்கொண்டு வந்தார். ஏனெனில், பிச்சை எடுப்பதைக் கேவலம் என்றும் சாஸ்திரம் கூறுகிறது. எனவே நிஜமான ஏழைகளுக்கு தானம் கொடுத்து அடுத்த பிறவியிலாவது பணத்தை வாரிக் குவிப்பவராகப் பிறக்க வழி செய்து கொள்ளலாம்.

Unfortunately the sloka could have been true at the time it was released. In these days, rich people are for accumulation of wealth and no intention to extend financial support to the needy and poor. So there is an urgent need to rewrite the sloka with the meaning that allthose with accumulated wealth without spending for charity would be born poor in their next birth.
can any one of you please post the sloka for the benefit of the readers(if possible with the meaning ofcourse).
